Janma din ka grah ;

Janma Samay ka grah

[Planet of the day of birth ;

and time of birth]

The day of birth has always been considered

as important in the traditional Vedic astrology.

Traditionally a planet has also been associated

with the day. Lal Kitab follows the same tradition.

For example if a child is born on a Sunday the

planet of the day of birth will be the Sun. This

planet will always be playing a very important

role in the life of the Jatak. Sun will be known

as a Kismat jagane wala grah [ a planet which

awakens the destiny ]. This will be a remediable

planet.

Janma samay ka grah [ planet of the time of birth ]

is a new concept used in the Lal Kitab. Lal Kitab

gives a table assigning the time slots to various

planets [ Arun Sanhita 1952ed ; page 7 /

1952 Urdu ed page # 30] . This planet will be known

as kismet ka grah [ planet of destiny ] and will not

be remediable.

Note : in the table given on page 30 of the 1952 urdu ed.

The time between 3 pm till 4 pm is not accounted for.

I take this time between 3 pm and 4 pm that of Mars.

This is my personal view. Others may have their

reservations on it.

Since both these planets are of great relevance to the

jatak because one of the planets is a planet of destiny

and the other one is the planet that awakens it, the

Lal Kitab has laid down the procedure for devising

an upaya for them.

It is not entirely correct to say that the janma samay

ka grah is non-remediable . The remedy to be done

for that grah has to be done differently.

The two statements in the book are :

{ a } ‘ Janma waqt ke grah ko ginte hain kismet

ka grah aur grah phal ka ; jiska diya hua phal

achcha ya bura atal ho aur jiska koi upaya na ho sake’

{ b } janma din ke grah ko ginte hain , kismet

jagane wale grah ka pakka ghar ya rasiphal ka ;

yani jiska upaya ho sake’

Then the book goes on to give an example in

detail as to how a remedy should be prescribed

for Rahu to a person born on a Monday { moon }

at pakki sham { rahu ka waqt}. The book says that

prescribe the remedy for rahu , assuming that the

rahu is in the 4th house , the pakka ghar of moon.

Now lets take the classic example of a person born

on a Sunday between 8am to 10 am { the time

allotted to sun}, meaning thereby that sun becomes

the janma samay ka grah also . Thus the sun is

both the janma din ka grah and the janma samay

ka grah.

According to the first condition Sun is the kismet

jagaane wala grah . And where ever it is placed

it will be considered as that of grah phal …

meaning non-remediable.

Now apply the second condition to the above statement :

The pakka ghar of the kismet jagane wala grah

{ sun } would be that of the janma din ka grah

{ in this case the sun whose pakka ghar is the

1st house } ; which would be considered as of

rasiphal and therefore remediable.

In other words for remedial purposes the sun

would be considered as placed in the 1st house.

Lets get back to the original assumption of a person

born on a Sunday between 8am and 10am:

In this kundali the sun will be either in the

12th house if the birth time is close to 8am ;

or in the 11th house if it is close to 10 am.

The above conditions mean that if any malefic

results are noticed related to the sun , in that case

the upaya will not be of sun placed either in the

12th or in the 11th ; instead the upaya will be

assuming that sun is placed in the 1st house

{ the pakka ghar of the janma din ka grah}

Thus the upaya for the janma samay ka grah can

be done assuming it is placed in the pakka ghar

of the planet of the janma din .

Respected Priyaji,As per earlier post "LK Grammar : Planets - 3 ", you have mention to calculate 'Kismet ke Grah' in two ways, one from LK-natal chart and one from LK-varshphal (2nd house theory).Now in this post this is the third technique to find Kismet ke grah (planet of destiny), from Janam waqt ke Grah.'Janam din ka Grah' is 'Kismat jagane wala grah (planets that awakens the destiny)', is it same as 'Kismet ke Grah' ?What result these planet gives in the chart. I mean whether these planet brings fortunes and in which conditions ?Are they always auspicious ? and difference between Kismat jagane wala grah' and Kismet ke Grah as per results.How do we interpret their basic meaning, i think that planet of deceit can also become planet of destiny, it means that positive results are sure to come from that planet??As per tradional astrology , planet which is very well placed in favourable position with strength is the planet of fortune.Kindly present your views and experience.Thank you,With Regards,Vijay GoelJaipur. , "" < wrote:>> > Janma din ka grah ;> > Janma Samay ka grah> > > > [Planet of the day of birth ;> > and time of birth]> > > > The day of birth has always been considered> > as important in the traditional Vedic astrology.> > Traditionally a planet has also been associated> > with the day. Dear Goyal,

Hypothetically speaking, in a kundali for any year there could be

even four or five planets which could qualify for being Kismet ke

grah. Since there can be only one planet which could be designated

or treated as a Bhagyesh [ traditional concept]; therefore the rest

of the planets could be taken to mean as significant. And the native

will have to be careful, not to turn those planets malefic, through

his own actions. And if any one of them is turned malefic then an

upaya should be done.

I personally, keeping with the tradition, consider only the 9th lord

as Bhagyesh.

God bless you,

Bhooshan Priya
