Guest guest
Dear Mr. Umesh Sharma, Sorry for this delay in my response, but here it is: Earlier I suggested to Mr. Varun Trivedi that the reason for using remedy of Jupiter in case of Ketu being in the 3rd house, Debilitated, could be the simple fact that Jupiter rules the 9th house, which is the Exaltation place of Ketu. In other word, the philosophy behind this, could be that Exaltation would undo Debilitation. Then you - very intelligently - ask if the remedy of Jupiter should also be applied in case of Ketu being in the 4th or 5th house. I believe the remedy of Jupiter, like donating yellow items or gold etc., should be used in case of Ketu in the 4th house. Because, as we all know, Ketu in the 4th is a factor against childbirth, and Jupiter being 1) the protector of progeny, 2) the lord of Ketu's exaltation sign and 3) the planet which is exalted in the place occupied by Ketu (4th house). In case of Ketu in the 5th house, I think the situation is somewhat different. Here Ketu's results depend much upon the situation and placement of Jupiter and Sun in the chart. I would only suggest remedy of Jupiter if Jupiter itself was badly placed, otherwise not. Normally, if Jupiter, Sun or Mercury are benefic enough, I would suggest the remedy of Ketu itself, like keeping a dog or other animal expressing itself with its tail. This is because Ketu means tail. But one needs to be very careful with this. I remember doing a chart of a woman having Ketu in the 5th, who was having one miscarriage after the other and no child. I have forgotten the other details of the chart, but it was very bad for having children. I first advised her to pray for a child, but at the same time to accept the situation as the will of God, without going against it. However, this woman desperately wanted a child, no matter what. So I finally gave in. I remember suggesting her to keep a black dog as a pet. And after a year she gave birth to an abnormal child of some genetic chromosome failure making it hyper aggressive and more or less destroying the family life of this woman and her husband. Obviously the remedy of Ketu worked, but so did her bad Karmas. The remedy only gave her a situation much worse than what she already had. But nobody could have made her understand that. She simply wanted a child, no matter what.
