Guest guest
Respected Raheja ji, Shadbal or six-fold strength is a traditional method to measure the strength of a planet. In this method a planet is measured on 18 parameters across six counts. This is the most exhaustive and accurate measurement of a Planet's strength denoted in rupbal. Rupbal is the unit of measurement. Unless the strength of a planet is known, it will be almost impossible to evaluate the affect of this planet as the house it is a lord of, or the house it is placed in, or the planet / house it aspects, or the karaks it signifies, or the periods of mahadasha and the antardasha Therefore it is a very significant astrological tool traditionally used by every serious astrologer.
