will get established in the 4th house of the Kundali.

NO !!

The tilak should not be applied on the forehead [ matha ] as you

have said.

Forehead denotes house # 11.

The tilak has to be applied between the eye brows. The place between

the eye brows denote house # 2.

likhne mein galti ho sakti hai, lekin tilak kahan lagta hai yeh sab

jante hain. agar-matha likh diya to koi farak nahi, tilak ki jagah to

sabko maloom hai. aur yeh bhee sab ko patta hoga ki yahan tilak lagta

hai woh kaun se khana ki jagah hai. aapne sahi likha hai yahan tilak

lagta hai woh khana no 2 hee hai.

aage se dhayan rakhoonga ki detail mein likhoon.

Respected Mahajan ji,

You might have noticed that in most cases the tilak is invariably

applied on the forehead and not between the eye brows; so much so on

family occasions, pooja path every where you will notice that the

Pundits will apply tilak on the fore head of the jajmaan [

client ] . Even in Bhayya Dauj you will notice that the sisters

apply tilak on the forehead. At the time of bidai [ taking leave ]

or victory celebration etc the tilak is applied on the forehead. I

do not know how this tradition came about.

Therefore to say that every body knows where the tilak is to be

applied is not true. A Lal Kitab astrologer when advising to apply a

tilak must always mention that it is to be applied on the space

between the eye brows.

tilak kahan lagta hai yeh sab ko pata hai. forehead ( yahan tilak

lagta hai) ko khana no 2 kyon diya hai, ya forehead ko hee khana no 2

diya hai aap hee behtar jante honge, vistar ke liye shani khana no 2

dekhen ki sarson ka tail mathey pe na lagne paye likha hai. agar mathy

pe tail lagne shani khana no 11 mein chala jayega to kya nuksan hoga

vistar se samjhaye.

Respected Mahajan ji,

If you insist that the entire forehead is house # 2, you are free to

continue believing so.

As far as we are concerned we believe that the space between the eye

brows alone denotes house # 2, where as the rest of the fore head (

peshani ) denotes house # 11. [ see 1952 edition page # 1001 ]

If the Saturn is placed in the 2nd house then applying mustard oil

on the fore head is prohibited because even if by mistake the

mustard oil reaches the space between the eye brows, it will further

strengthen the Saturn there.

meri behas yeh nahi ki peshani ya space between eyebrow hee khana no 2

hai , mera kehna yeh hai ki woh sari jagah yahan par tilak lagta hai

khana no 2 hai.SHIV ka teesra netar hee khana no 2 hai. shayad iss

jagah par agya chakar bhee hota hai.SHIV ka teesra netar kitni jagah

leta hai aap dekh lein. Maffi chahta hoon. agar mere bol kadwe lage to.

Respected Mahajan ji,

[ a ] We are discussing peshani and the space between

the eye brows within the framework of the Lal Kitab.

Therefore we have to abide by what has been said in

the book. We can not go by the tradition or the

convention when the discussion is within the

parameters of the Lal Kitab.

[ b ] According to the Lal Kitab only the space

between the eye brows has been designated as

house # 2, and the rest of the forehead [ peshani ]

as house # 11.

[ c ] The third eye of Lord Shiv, according to the

Lal Kitab, will be considered on the peshani and

therefore the third eye will be in the 11th house area.

[ d ] Therefore if a tilak is applied at any other place

except between the eye brows can not be considered

as house # 2.

With the limitations enumerated above:

We do not agree with your following statements :

mera kehna yeh hai ki woh sari jagah yahan par tilak lagta haikhana no 2 hai

We once again do not agree with :

SHIV ka teesra netar hee khana no 2 hai.....SHIV ka teesra netar kitni jagah leta hai aap dekh lein.
