Guest guest
Respected Yograj ji, Page 288 line #1/2 reads: ‘bhudh ke teer ko mangal bud ka munh mamu khandan aur aage aulad inki bhi tabah kare’ In the original urdu text there is a long stretched dash [------] between the word ‘budh ka kamunh’ and ‘ mamu khandan’. By reading the line it is felt that some word is missing between ‘budh ka munh’ and ‘mamu khandan’. To me it appears that the qatib did not understand the word written there and that is why he marked a long stretched dash signaling that there should be a word in between. The dash marked in the original is not a normal dash [-] it is a stretched long dash. In case you do not want to add a word like ‘gina hai’ or ‘kaha hai’ on your own then you should also leave that gap so that the reader can add a word himself. Another minor correction : page 280 line #3 the word ‘se’. the matra is missing. With great regards, Varun Trivedi
