Guest guest
Respeceted Girish ji, Yes the 1952 ed on page 870 does advise that " kismet ki har ke waqt aurat ke hathon ya khud neela phool bawaqt sham dabate jane se madad hogi " . You are right that if the jatak buries a blue flower he is destroying the effect of his Rahu for that year. Therefore if Rahu is separated from the combination of venus +rahu , then venus alone will be left in the 12th house which is exalted in that house. In this way Venus will be free from the affliction of Rahu. When the same upaya is done by the wife instead of the jatak himself, then the equation is slightly different. When the wife [ venus ] buries the blue flower, she is burying rahu. Since the Venus is composed of rahu+ketu, it means that the rahu part of the venus has been separated leaving behind only ketu part. Thus rahu and the left over ketu [ from venus] again form a Venus. Therefore at the end of both the upaya the residual is venus which is good in the 12th house.
