rahu and dimaag / Kulbir ji

Dear Kulbir Bhai,

 

The 1952 ed on page 1150 gives an entire list of planets and the

diseases associated with that planet.

 

For mercury it says:

 

" chechak,dimaghi dhanche ki beemariyan,khushbu badbu ka pata na

lagana, naadiyon,zubaan ya danton ki beemariyan "

 

You can see for yourself that Pandit ji has placed the diseases of

the head [ dimaghi danchaa ] and the nerves [ naadiyon ] under the

karakatwa of mercury.

 

I believe a similar list exists in the 1942 ed.

Doesn't naddian means veins or arteries, dhanchi ki bimari and dhanche me mimari have different aspects.

Dear Kulbir bhai,

 

yes naadiyan means veins, arteries and nerves. Nadiyan is a general

term used for shira, dhamni etc.

I think for a common man dhanche ki beemari and dhanche mein beemari

would mean the same.
