Respected Pradeep ji,

Moon can be established in the 1st house only if the karak of moon is

either worn on the person in a chain etc or is kept in the East

corner of the house.

In the 2nd house it can be established either by applying in the form

of Tilak between the eyes or kept in the North West corner of the

house.

Moon doesn't get established in these houses by merely getting the

karak of moon from some one else.

Q1 : In matters of aspect we go by the Traditional system. Therefore

we believe that the planets in the 7th house do aspect the planets in

the 1st house. The quality of aspect may not be the same as the

planets aspecting the 7th from the 1st.

Therefore according to our belief the moon needs strengthening in the

1st house.

Q2 Sure the karak object of the moon should not be kept in an iron

box.

Q3. I would prefer white silk cloth.

Q4. The 1st house is denoted by the East. Therefore I'd prefer it in

the East.

Regards,

Varun Trivedi
