Respected Pradeep ji,

Yes it is true that Rahu in the 5th house adversely affects the

progeny. It causes what is known in Vedic Jyotish a Pitri Dosh. But I

have never come across an upaya of elephant with a golden chain.

With Jupiter and Rahu together, it is not the Rahu which stays

silent, it is the Jupiter which becomes silent. The book says :

" guru rahu jab ho do ikaththe, sher soya guru hota ho " ...it further

says " Brihaspat chup hoga magar gum na hoga "

[ a ] Mars can cotrol Rahu, but it can not cool Rahu. Therefore the

help of the Moon is required to cool it. Hence the silver toy

elephant.Secondly the Mars + Rahu combination in the 5th house is

going to be all the more dangerous for progeny, it can not be advised.

[ b ] Since the golden chain is not going to be of any effect, hence

the question of which leg doesn't arise.

Regards,

Varun Trivedi
