Dear Bhai,

 

Every apartment does have a parking garage or floor beneath ground. You could

also establish it there as that would be considered as basement.

But bhai normally one would have their own space within the basement. Would this

not qualify?

No. You can not use a community garage space for it because that is

not a basement of your house. The basement and the house has to be

one single unit.
