Dear members,

I have read the Hindi transliteration version of 1941 urdu edition

of the Lal Kitab by one of our group members Shri Yograj Prabhakar.

It is an extremely well done transliteration. He has taken great

pains to retain the original page numbers and even the line numbers.

This is a great job to preserve the original authenticity of the

book.

It becomes all the more important and useful for people like me who

keep referring to the Urdu editions quite often. Earlier it used to

take me a considerable time to locate information in the Urdu

edition { my Urdu reading is painfully slow}, with the help of

Prabhakar ji's transliterated book I can locate the information

within seconds. An exhaustive glossary of urdu, Persian and Punjabi

words at the end is a great help.

The 1952 edition of the Lal Kitab , the fifth and the last in the

series, can be understood better only if one has read the previous

edition of 1942. Similarly the 1939 and the 1940 editions go in

tandem.

The 1941 { Gutka } is one such Lal Kitab book which is brief,

concise and complete in itself. It will make sense even if you

haven't read the other editions. Of all the five editions, I find

the 1941 { Gutka } as the easiest to understand. Most useful also

since it is so handy.

Therefore, all those who want to learn Lal Kitab system, should go

through this book. I'd rather say that they start with this book

before graduating to the other editions.

I would request Prabhakar ji to post in the group details as where

to get it from and for how much.

God bless you

Bhooshan Priya

Weldon, say my congrats & ashirwad to both junior prabhakars. It is

really an appriciatable work. But i felt that its dictionary portion

may need more amendments, still this part of this book is very best

effort.Any how ,again im saying we have need of an URDU Expert like u

& u cant sit in rest after publishing this book & u have to be aware

making the sense of Urdu transletrated words from Gutka carefully in

future for the readers.
