Dear Helen,

 

The frequency of upaya largely depends on the severity of the

problem.

Technically speaking immersing barley distances all the effects of

Rahu which includes the good effects too if any. But once Rahu

starts acting malefic there would hardly be any positive or benefic

effects of Rahu.
