Malefic Rahu controlled by eating in kitchen

Can anyone please explain how the malefic effects of rahu in 12th

house can be mitigated by eating in the kitchen itself.? I understand

that eating on a bed will make matters worse for obvious reasons but

why kitchen ? And why must you keep an elephant made of silver in the

house ? - to keep the elephant rahu under control of moon (silver) ?

Respected Sorabh ji,

 

The kitchen area is the karak of Mars and it could be because of this

that it has been suggested.

As for the rahu in 5th and the silver elephant, go and read about it

from the the files of :
