Dear Singh saheb,

Yes, one of the upaya for Saturn in the 6th house is :

“Bury in the mud under deep water a little mustard oil kept in an

earthen pot. Cement the lid so that the oil doesn’t spill out into

the water. The pot should be buried deep enough so that it stays

under the water always.â€

The upaya is not to flow the pot away into the water, instead it is

such that the pot stays buried in the mud under the cover of the

water always.

Now let us understand the logic of this upaya .

Mustard oil { Saturn } ; earthen pot { mercury , the karak of the

6th house, the owner of the house }; mud { venus } ; under the cover

of water { moon }

Saturn { mustard oil } is first handed over to its friend, and the

owner of the house it is placed in , mercury { earthen pot }and then

is placed permanently in the care of another friend Venus { mud }.

This action is to provide the help of mercury and the venus to the

Saturn , which not only strengthens it but also changes the ‘taseer’

{ characteristics }of the Saturn. The pot stays under the cover of

the water { moon }. This makes the Saturn ‘shaant’ †" calm and cool.

All planets become ‘shaant’ under the umbrella of the mother { moon }

The upaya can be done in a pond , lake or a river, where ever you

think the pot will not come out of the water and will remain under

water.

This upaya can not be done by burying the pot in a ‘ganda naala’ or

a sewage drain ; because that would mean establishing the Saturn in

the 8th house. It would result in being even worse than being in the

6th house.

Regards,

Varun Trivedi

sir;

the answer to ur question is that the shani of 6 aspects khanna no.2

with kroor drishti. like that of a cobra raises its hood in anger;

its eyes look backwards.in such a condition it forgets to

differentiates between friends and foes whether shukkr or chandr

etc.and creates problems for each and every planets posited in 2nd

houses;

now for its remedy this upaya is done as by virtue of this upaya

house no.2 remains concealed from the malefic effect of shani6 on

house no.2.

Respected Varun Trivedi Ji,

I am new to this group. I know this group is for discussion not for

analysing personal horoscope. Sir, you explained the logic behind

doing the upaya for saturn in the 6th house. As you suggest this

upaya is to be done only in mud not in the ganda nala and doing that

in ganda nala could be more worse than saturn in 6th house. In

general I would like to know if somebody did that in ganda nala than

in that case what needs to be done to remove the worse effect of

this upaya and in what way this is more worse than previuos

condition. Actually, in my horoscope saturn in 6th house and two

astrologers suggest me same upaya but both suggested me to be done

in ganda nala in seven consective weeks and I did that upaya already

and would like to know the adverse effect of doing this upaya.

Please don't consider this as analysing my personal horoscope.

Thanks and Regards,

Dear Jyoti ji,

By burying mustard oil in a ‘ganda naala’ you have placed your

Saturn in the 8th house. Although the 8th house is a pakka ghar of

Saturn, still the results of Saturn remain ‘shaqqi’ or doubtful here.

Once a karak object of a planet is buried, it can not be retrieved.

Only disaster management steps can be taken.

You can ascertain whether the Saturn is malefic here or not through

a couple of things :

[ a ] Has there been an accident after you buried the mustard oil in

a ‘gandaa naala’ ?

[ b ] Did any crack appear in the walls of the house after burying

the oil?

[ c ] Has there been an increase in the expenditure of the house

after burying the oil?

[ d ] Has a serpent or a scorpion been seen in the house after

burying?

If none of the above, then keeping with you a small square piece of

silver will be enough.

If yes to any one of the above, then you might have to throw a

handful of til { sesame seeds} in the ‘gandaa naala’ for 9 days

regularly; thus establishing Ketu also along with Saturn so that

both start acting benefic in the 8th house.

With regards,

Varun Trivedi
