On your website, it is mentioned :

 

Any planet is considered strong when it is not in the state of

weakness. It can increase its strength if:

 

e) it closely influences the most effective point of the house.

 

Could you please elaborate a bit more on this.

Is it that the planetary strength increases or is it that the impact

is more pronounced?

 

Also -

A planet in its mooltrikona (MT) sign is treated as very powerful,

provided it is otherwise strong.

 

So does a planet increase its strength by placement in its MT sign,

something like placement in sun like houses?

I have the chart of India in mind where it was pointed out by you that

because of the placement of 3rd lord Moon in its own MT sign the

effect of affliction is mellowed.

 

Which is better - placement in MT sign or exaltation?

IMPACT IS MORE PRONOUNCED.

IF A PLANET IS STRONG IT IS MORE POWERFUL IN A SUN LIKE HOUSE THAN THE MT

SIGN.

Which is better - placement in MT sign or exaltation?

IF STRONG BETTER IN EXALTATION.
