Marriage Problems and Career prospects

Namaste,

I am in the midst of unsuccessful marriage life and professional

life..confused where my life is going..

I have basically two questions - 1. regarding marriage and

2. career prospects

i'm facing tough times both in my marriage and in my career (I

posted a query on my marriage life in the forum sometime back,

really thankful for the response and been following the remedies).

1. marriage-

a little bit of background, i have been married for the past 8 years

and have a 3 yr old son. But still having problems with my marriage,

I had strained relationships with my close relations for the past

6.5 years (now resolving). i learnt that i'm in my last phase of

saade saathi and that my rahu antardasha is currently on (with Budha

maha dasha). I am doing saadesathi remedial measures currently. I

wanted to find out if things are getting worse further down the road

or will improve as a ray of hope? when will my marriage problems

resolve? do I have kuja dosha which is causing marriage problems? do

I have second marriage in my horoscope? when will good period start?

2. career-

i'm not able to focus on my career and i am not getting recognition

for my work. can you please tell me which profession is best suited

for me according to my birth chart - where i can get recognition,

can focus and grow in my career. my current job (i have been in the

current job for the past five years and last year had a small change

in the job) is not giving me job satisfaction. is there a job change

in the near future for me? which profession is good for my growth? i

completed higher studies abroad (5 yrs. back) and settled abroad

since 8 yrs.)

I am really thankful for your responses. Thank you for taking the

time to read my long email. I am mentally down and don't want to

completely end up unsuccessful in the two important areas of life.

time of birth: 4:15 pm (evening),

place of birth: vijayawada (andhra pradesh)

Hello Divya,

You are of Kark raashi (cancer sign) and Meen (Pieces) lagan (ascendant).

Since Saturn is transiting across the Leo sign these days so you are under Sadhe-sathi. This will continue till the 2nd week of Sept 2009 and thereafter you will definitely feel some relief, in general. Infact you will start feeling relief soon after May 2009 when effect of the Sadhe-saathi will start depleting.

Having said this, it is important to understand that your Saturn is placed in the 5th house and is thus directly aspecting your 7th house (house of marriage), the 11th house (income) and the 2nd house (wealth accumulation, relationship, speech etc).

Worst, it is also aspecting the lord of 7th house. Besides, in your Navansh chart, it is also aspecting Venus (love life) and is sitting with exalted Mars (disturbing the physical pleasures).

However, it will not badly affect the 11th house (income) as it is Saturn’s own house and 11th lord is in its own navansh.

So in a nut shell the badly asepcted facets of life get affected in some way or the other. The problems are obvious and you have to deal with them.

Now, you are not the only one who’s Saturn gets housed in the 5th house of the horoscope. Many people have this but do not generally experience what you went through in your life till date.

The important thing is the strength of the bad effects of Saturn and / or its lack of neutralization by other planets.

In your case, your Saturn is very strong in its effects and the benefic planets for you are weaker in their strength. So Saturn gains the upper hand in the tussle. Occasionally Saturn takes a beating due to transit motion of all other planets and during that time you gain or rather you loose less.

Now, you are passing through the Mahadasha (MD) of Mercury (Budh) since 1998 and this will last till 2015. Mercury is not a favourable planet for your Pieces ascendant. But it is the lord of your 7th house and placed in the 7th house and hence it gave marriage.

You must have got married in the Antardasha (AD) of either Ketu (Jun 2000 to June 2001) or of Venus (latter part of 2001). Ketu in your chart will behave as Mars (Mangal). I would say that it will make the relationship because divorce is not ensured in your chart. So, on the positive front things should improve.

Actually your chart shows a delayed marriage and that would have been better for you. But due to transit effects, sometimes the weak yoga’s of an event get accomplished, if unhappiness is written pertaining to that event.

It happened to you in the form of marriage.

Your chart shows love marriage. Is int’ it true? So you were in some haste to get married.

Your two planets are seeing 2nd house and this indicates breakage in relationship. It might have occurred once before marriage and / or some sparks flew on to your marital life. You must truthfully speak to yourself and ensure that any kind of past relationship or some wrong information on it has not become the cause of marital discord in your case.

If that is the case then you need to make efforts to mend it. The chart indicates so.

Your next Mahadasha ie of Ketu starting from year 2015 for next 7 years, will be better compared to the existing MD of Mercury.
