Guest guest
Part Two - Page Two Jupiter enters Capricorn (Makara) on 09 December 2008 at 19:11:37 hrs at Greenwich 0° 0’ 0” E 51°29’0’’ North. and moves to Aquarius(Kumbha) on19th December 2009 at 19:45:05 Hrs. The first stage of our discussion below will be from 09 December 2008 at 19:11:37 to 1st May 2009 Jupiter enters Aquarius at 14:10:50 hrs that day.******* That is the first transit period in Capricorn. Note to all readers: Please do not jump into conclusions and start worrying on the details given in this article. Millions and millions would have been in these Nakshathras, as well as in other Nakshathras marked for various Zodiac Zones. Also they must be going through various experiences which could be slightly away from these general listed details of effects. As such these are indicators and not decisive results to arrive at. For beginners as well as those who wants to know the distinction on the interpretations on a chart for entire life and the results on Planetary transits on day-today happenings, I give below a brief introduction::-- The permanent position of Planets at the time of birth, as detailed in the Birth Chart (Janma Pathrika) in relation to Lagna signifies the details of strength and inherent features of various aspects of life that are in store for man/woman in ‘performance’ which cannot be changed. But in the effects produced thereafter in relation to Janma Rasi by the position of Planets at various time in day-to-day affairs of life is called ‘Gochara’ - 'transitional effects on movement of Planets’ - which differ from time to time. Both in dealing with the permanent features of Horoscope or Jathaka and in dealing with effects of Planets for day-to-day affairs the 12 Bhavas reckoned from either Lagna for the former and from Janma Rasi (the position of Moon in the Janma Pathrika - the Moon in the Star Zone in which the birth had taken place) in reference to the latter gives the results of various aspects of Life. The Power of Planets, while in transit: The strength or weakness of each Planet, gains or loses, while transiting in various Zodiacal signs. They gain when they pass through the houses they rule, and the exact degrees where they are exalted, lose when they are fallen (Neecha) or gain in Moolathrikona. Except The Sun and Moon (as they have only forward motion), the other Planets, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Saturn have forward motion, as also ‘retrograding’ motion while in their orbits, and the results in passing through Zodiac signs, is affected to the direction of motions, to cause relative moderation in the effects- so established by the Planet’s occupation, Desa Bukti, Anthra Periods, as also shift of aspect from other Planets in that movement. Rahu and Ketu always in the path of ‘Retro gradation’ at all times. Now Jupiter is entering Capricorn (Makara). The owner of Capricorn is Saturn. Saturn is Neutral to Jupiter, while Jupiter is also neutral to Saturn. Jupiter is a friend to the Sun, Moon and Mars, while it is enemy to Mercury and Venus. This has to be remembered since, Mercury and Venus are fast moving Planets, and mostly Mercury will be very near to the Sun and could occupy the same Zodiacal Sign. When these two Planets are posed opposite in ‘Gochara’ to Jupiter, they could cause reduction to the contributions of Jupiter, while they will be giving more of their results in the movement. It is interesting to note that the relationship between two Planets is not always reciprocal. While at the deduction of transit results, Jupiter will continue to give beneficial castings to these enemy Planets in transit when they move in ‘Trikonas’ to Jupiter position. Jupiter and its Powers: 1. It has big fat body; Broad Chest; and large Limbs. It is intelligent, and well versed in religious texts; It is Satwick, modest, peaceful, virtuous, and in Golden complexion. He is considered as teacher of Gods. It is adaptable. 2. It is ‘Karaka’ for the following: Wealth, Thighs, Knowledge, Children, Minister, Guru and Dharma. He gives happiness. In Hindu tradition it represents Husband. It also represents, elder brother/sister. 3. It is trailed for sense of hearing, jaundice, masculine, protruding abdomen, liver, feet, over-eating, hips, the tendency of one looking directly ahead while talking (taking away eyes from the direction), priests, professors, judges, scholars, and attorneys and intellectuals. 4. Jupiter is ‘depleted’ (Neecha) in Capricorn. While Jupiter is considered as beneficial Planet, he is completely ‘out of face’ while in transit in Capricorn. Resultantly his effects on other Planets during transit, while Jupiter is in Capricorn, will be void of Jupiter’s favorable aspect (Drushty) and such movements could aggravate their performances of evil effect and/or reduce considerably the favorable effects. This will be well-found while relating to the transit of other Planets. e.g.: Generally, Mercury and Jupiter is considered a powerful combination. While Mercury transits Moon in Cancer, and aspect from Jupiter from Capricorn, the powerful intellectual combination of Mercury and Moon will be reduced to that minimum to make the person to commit silly mistakes and foolish approach and lose the position of excellence and suffer admonition in that short time. This could reflect in his career progress, if it is directly related to the Dasa/Bukti/Anthara assessment. " I wish you had clarified simultaneously that it was Lahiri Capricorn you were talking about since Jupiter will enter Ramana Makar Rashi on some other date and time, and Chandra Hari Makar at some other date and time and Yukteshwar Makar at yet another date and time and Grahalaghava Makar at still another date and time and Western jyotishis' Makar at still another date and time and so on! Poor Jupiter! Must be feeling utterly confused! A few years back papers were full of stories that Jupiter had had a very heavy hammering from certain meteor! How ungrateful his " clients " are that they did not send a saphire to him (actually IT!) so that it he (IT!) could have saved itself from the " evil effects " of " dhooma ketus " . Most probbly, Jupiter must have been having sade-sathi (elarata---panoti!) then! He (IT) must have been in need of some " neelam " to ward off Shani's effects! Even that was not sent to him (IT!) Tut, tut, tut! The Babylonian astrolators must be turning (actually laughing!) in their graves that their Capricorn and Aquarius etc. astrological signs, which they had " written " on cuneiform tablets at least six thousand years back, are being embraced the world over and most ironically, by a country, which says that the Vedas are the oldest scriputres! But our " Vedic astrologers " are unaware that there are no such Mesha, Vrisha etc. Rashis in the vedas or the Vedanga Jyotisha etc. No wonder they call rashi based predictive gimmicks as " Vedic astrology " . Height of ignorance! But then we must not forget that it is because of the same " Vedic astrology " that we are celebrating all our fasts, festivals and muhurtas on wrong days---so much so that we celebrated Pitra-Amavasya on the day of actual Dipavali! Is there any worse way to uproot our dharma? So we do not need enemies to ruin our Vedic culture---we have our " friendaly Vedic astrolgers " to do that----billions and billions of them, blessed as they are with the blessings of " imported Vamadevas " With regards, A K Kaul asthikasamaj, venkatachala pathi <pathiav@> wrote: > > Part Two - Page TwoJupiter enters Capricorn (Makara) on 09 December 2008 at 19:11:37 hrs at Greenwich 0° 0' 0 " E 51°29'0'' North. and moves to Aquarius(Kumbha) on19th December 2009 at 19:45:05 Hrs. > The first stage of our discussion below will be from 09 December 2008 at 19:11:37 to 1st May 2009 Jupiter enters Aquarius at 14:10:50 hrs that day.******* > That is the first transit period in Capricorn. The permanent position of Planets at the time of birth, as detailed in the Birth Chart (Janma Pathrika) in relation to Lagna signifies the details of strength and inherent features of various aspects of life that are in store for man/woman in `performance' which cannot be changed. > But in the effects produced thereafter in relation to Janma Rasi by the position of Planets at various time in day-to-day affairs of life is called `Gochara' - 'transitional effects on movement of Planets' - which differ from time to time. The Power of Planets, while in transit:The strength or weakness of each Planet, gains or loses, while transiting in various Zodiacal signs.
