Prologue : This Week -

B. Lord Raama Installs Shiva Lingam ( Saikatha Lingam =

made of Sand in Raameshwaram ( So.India )to absolve Himself

of any sin that He may have incured by killing RaavaNa Brahma.

2. June 13 / 14 - A. Nirjala Ekaadasi - some devotees abstain

even from Water , but not advisable in this

hot weather.

 

B. Aadi Shankara reached Kailaasam.

3. June 14 / 15 - A. Raama LakshmaNa Dwaadasi

B. Sun enters Mitthuna Raasi ( Gemini ) -

1st day of Solar New Month - Mitthunam / AaNi.

LOKA PAALAKAS III - Under the overall Protection of Swetha Varaaha ,

( as already noted ) , we are within the domain of 7 th present Manu -

VAIVASWATHA MANU ( Vaivaswatha Manvantharam ) . Vivaswatha is

also known as SHRAADDHA DEV , a son of Vivaswanth Soorya , hence

Vaivaswatha Manu . ( children are named after their parents ).

Vaivaswatha Manu is the Seventh Manu after - 1. Swaayambhoo Manu,

2. Swaarochisha Manu , 3. Utthama Manu , 4. Thaamasa Manu ,

5. Raivatha Manu and 6. Chaakshusha Manu.

Seven more Manus will follow . Manu = forerunner of Man.
