Guest guest
AATHREYA - Dr. BalaKrishna Murthy Ramaraju JAABAALI MAHARSHI , THE TRUTHFUL Jabal is an innocent , illiterate , poor orphan girl eking out Her livelihood working as a maid in Hermitages in a forest. One night a Celestial appeared in Her dream and blessed Her with a Son . In course of time a Son was born to this unwed Mother Jabal and She raised Her Son as a Single Mom strictly in the tradition of those Hermitages where She is working. Jabal always insisted that Her Son should always speak the Truth, be Honest , Sincere and Truthful. When the time came for Her Son to be educated in Vedic Tradition Jabal sent Her Son to a Senior Guruji to get Himself registered as a Sishya in The Gurukulam. At the time of Registration Guruji asked the boy His name , His Father's name and His Gothra etc. The Boy Truthfully said that He does not know who His Father is , does not have a Name and is not aware of any Gothra particulars. Guruji is very impressed with the Boy's honesty and asked Him to bring His Mother . Jabal approached Guruji and testified to all that is stated by Her Son and told Her name only - Jabal. ( Note : In Scandinavian Countries Schools accept either Parent.s name and no State Agency demands to know Father's Name .) Guruji accepted the Boy , named Him SATHYAKAAMA JAABAALI = Truth-speaking son of Madam Jabal.. SATHYAKAAMA JAABAALI became a great Vedic Scholar under the tutelage of Guruji and opened His own Gurukulam . SATHYAKAAMA JAABAALI remained True to His Name and true to what His Mother and Guruji Told Him to be always Honest and Truthful. One day a Hunter chased a wild boar which sought refuge in SathyaKaama Jaabaali Maharshi's Aashram. The hunter requested Jaabaali Maharshi to give up the boar . SATHYAKAAMA JAABAALI MAHARSHI replied- " O NOBLE HUNTER , MY EYES HAVE SEEN THE BOAR BUT THEY CANNOT SPEAK , I AM SORRY ; MY TONGUE CAN SAY WHERE THE BOAR IS BUT IT HAS NO EYES AND HENCE CANNOT SEE , I AM SORRY. PLEASE GO AWAY AND SEEK YOUR PREY ELSEWHERE . " TRUTH SHALL ALWAYS PREVAIL. Om Thath Sath , Sahanaa Vavathu , Om Shaanthi. Sathyameva Jayathe. Sathyam Vada . Dharmam Chara. aathreya
