On the day of the fast you may take only tea, coffee, milk, fruits and curd etc. during daytime and normal meals at night after sunset and avoid taking non-vegetarian food or liquor. You may not wear any gemstones in this period as they may have contradictory effect on you in which they may cause more harm than good to you.
