Dear Bill:

 

Thanks for verifying the birth info.

 

The sign Scorpio is rising at the time of your birth and the Moon is

in Ardra.

 

Sade Sati is not the problem as it has little impact in your chart as

Saturn rules good houses for you. Jupiter is very nicely placed and

strong but...

 

Problems are shown by the current Dasha and bhukti, Saturn and Venus.

Venus is Lord of Losses in your chart and placed in the 8th house of

obstructions and closely afflicting Mercury. Your 8th house is loaded

with 4 weak planets.

 

The close conjunction of Venus with Mercury causes no income or long

spells of unemployment besides troubling friends and elder siblings.

The current period is one of grave concerns and happenings.

 

Beginning in September the transiting Nodes will cause further trouble

to profession, mental peace and home peaking with Venus too, in the

middle of October of this year. Your natal Jupiter should help to

defend the profession front at least to some degree, but the Lord of

profession, the Sun, is quite weak natally as it is in old age.

 

There is more, but suffice to say the next 3 or 4 subperiods are not

that hot either.

 

I would consider having a yagya and charities performed for Venus and
