Even in the hotel one can drink a cup of water without paying anything. If you ask the Lord to protect you for your prayer and meditation it is something like charging the customer for drinking a cup of water in the hotel. To eat meals, you should procure the materials and cook the food. You cannot eat the meals by singing songs or by collecting flowers. Similarly you cannot please the Lord by praising, meditation, worshipping the idols and statues, which are representing Him as models, by going to temples etc.,. All these efforts are only trying to soap the Lord. Your exercises and zymnastic feats by word and feelings can never please the Lord. All these efforts become waste and will not touch the Lord. Even the logical discussions cannot please the Lord. Veda says the same (Yato Vacho Nivartante Aprapya Manasasaha, Namethaya). You are not discussing about your children constantly by such logic. You can get the grace of the Lord by sacrifice of work (Karma Sanyasa) and sacrifice the fruit of work (Karma Phala Tyaga) only. You can get and eat a sweet in the hotel either by payment (Karma Phala Tyaga) or working in the hotel for some time (Karma Sanyasa). Except these two ways, you cannot eat the sweet by meditating upon the sweet or by chanting prayers on the sweet. Devotion (love on God) should not confine to words & feelings only. You do not show such love to your children. So do not show such love to Lord also. As you show your love in action in case of your children, you can show same love to Lord also. As you control your words & mind before your children, you can also control before the Lord. Similarly you do not wear silk clothes, garlands & apply sacred ash on your forehead for sake of your children. Why should you put all this drama dress before the Lord also? Real love requires unhappiness by sacrifice. In such sacrifice one feels happy since he sacrificed to Lord. You take mother. She gives food to her child & suffers with hunger. But she feels very happy in that suffering. A human being cannot give back anything for such real love. Even if he gives something i.e. temporary only. But when real love is proved by sacrifice the Lord gives permanent fruit i.e. Brahma Loka. Sakthuprashta gave his food to Lord in human form though he was not having food for past 10 days. If the guest was an ordinary human being, guest must have been a sadist, because he never cared about hunger of Sakthuprastha. But since guest was Lord, Sakthuprastha was given infinite wealth in this world & also permanent Brahma Loka after death. So you must be very careful in fixing human form of Lord. Otherwise if human form is an ordinary human being you are deceived & such human being is definitely a sadist. Unhappiness in sacrifice & happiness that neutralizes unhappiness are characteristics of path of sacrifice. Lord does not insist such path. The path should come from depth of your heart with full willingness. If you fear for unhappiness you can never follow that path. When the case comes to your children, you will not put this question because you have real love to them. Are you not sacrificing your food to your child even though you suffer with hunger & feel happy? Give you all their money,belongings and come on the road ? If they do this it means they are sacrificing ? And if they dont do this, they are selfish ? And what grace do you require from us by these sermons ? Why dont you sacrifice these sermons and go and sit at the Lotus Feet. How can you decide whether one has love or not for The lord? Why are you wasting your time constantly and others ? Why dont you give these lectures to the Foreign Groups ? Why here ? Please do real good by going to colonies where people are being converted , give sermons there. Here they are all simple and not much moneyed to sacrifice. A Bhakta of Lord Rama who has written a mail on the Lords Birthday, you are replying all nonsense to Him ? Is this what you have been taught by Your Gurus ? I have debts of Rs.10 Lakhs on me. Can you sacrifice some of your wealth for me ? The Lord in me would be very much pleased and bless You.
