Guest guest
Kanak ji, I had written several times in this & other forums in the past and repeating it again. Mundane predictions require involvement of the querent with matter under judgement. Without involvement, mundane predictions fails. I myself failed several times in the past and now I stopped predicting mundane events using KP horary all together. A question like the result of a match has 50/50 % of probability and if the the astrology can not predict even the 50/50 case, there is some serious defect in the method of judgement. We will have to find a better developed method of such kind of predictions. It is not just on opinion but based on my serious research during the last cricket world cup. Even I advised some leading astrologers that time not to predict on TV but they predicted and failed miserably. I request experts here not to take it against any system but it is just my experience with the subject. Thanks & Regards, Punit Pandey On Apr 9, 2005 5:19 PM, Kanak Bosmia <kanbosastro wrote: Pakistan won the match. so many times i am wrong when i try to pridict about match. can any one throw some light? regards kanak > " Kanak Bosmia " <kanbosastro >stellarastrologyresearch >stellarastrologyresearch >[stellarastrologyresearch] Cricket Match- India - V - Pakistan 9/4/2005 >Sat, 09 Apr 2005 14:57:42 +0530 > Thinking of a vacation? Guest guest
Kanak ji, One drop can not make an ocean. As I mentioned in my last post that the probability of winning and losing is 50/50. One can come to the right conclusion even based on incorrect calculation. Unlike other horary predictions, there is no other method to cross-check the result of match. For example if you predict marriage, you can check the possibility as well as date of marriage but the same is not true with the cricket match prediction. The point I wanted to make here, it never worked for me and if it is not working for others, we should dig more and find out the better method. KP is the branch of astrology with amazing accuracy and we all, being KP astrologer, have seen that. Not only cricket, I found KP horary failing in most of the mundane results. I hope we should take the opinion of other KP experts and take there opinion. Guest guest
Dear Kanak, From my limited knowledge on how some other people predict outcomes of matches of any sport, my understanding is that good results can be obtained from the chart of when a match actually begins play. So, for cricket, it would be the time the first ball is bowled on the first day of a test match or on the day for a ODI. I have not yet tried these methods myself using KP system but will investigate it. As for using KP Horary number at a time before the match begins, I cannot comment but judging from some of the other responses, it seems like it might not be a good idea for determining an outcome of a sporting match in this way. Being from Australia, I have enjoyed the many good cricket matches between our country and other countries over the years. Guest guest
Neville ji, It can be the one methoed to test. I also believe that it should give good results. But how we are going to judge the chart is a question. Guest guest
Dear Punit Pandey, While I have not used the system I put forward, I just wanted to raise this an an option since I am aware that some sporting predictions are made at the start of play, by other sources that I have come across over time. From my recollection of that system, the houses are counted from the ascendant for the team that is regarded as the " home " team. The houses are counted (as house 1) from the 7th cusp for the " visiting " team. From this, I suspect that we could use a similar analysis strategy using the KP system. If my memory serves me, I think that most cricket matches begin at 11:00am in the morning, weather permitting. I assume it is the same in India as well. For those cases, the Sun is always in the same position (10th house), discounting daylight saving time in countries where it is applicable, like Australia. So, if the above technique was used/investigated, we would need to regard the Sun's house position as less of a factor, though its Star and Sub would be significant for a particular day. For research, the 5th ODI India v Pakistan cricket match is this Friday, 15th April in Kanpur. It would be helpful if someone on this list was able to note the exact time the bowler began his run-up of the first ball and posted it here. This way, we can make some judgements using this approach and it might be useful for research. As I understand it, the tally of ODI matches is 2 all, so this next match will be crucial for India, I would think. Guest guest
Neville ji, In my opinion, we can not take 1st house for the home team. Time is same for all and doesn't understand which is the home team and which is the visiting one. Though I am not mundane expert, in my opinion, we can either match it to the country's chart (again not much successful in my experience) or find out the ruling planet of each country and check their placements. Guest guest
Dear Inder, In my humble opinion, what matters is who want to know the result. When querist himself is inhabitant of the country and partisan, he could consider himself as representative of one of the only two sides involved. If one has to consider, more than two parties are involved, then certainly that might not work.
