The Asc sub lord Venus is strongly connected to Maraka and Badhaka houses. The star lord of Asc is debilitated Saturn. This not only indicates weak mind but also poor longevity. The Child is running with afflicted planet's dasa from birth. Further, study of second cusp sub lord reveals more. In this case it is Saturn. Saturn is afflicted. As per KP principle, 2nd sub lord in 6th and afflicted by mercury results in debility in expression. Saturn is in the sub of heavily afflicted Mercury. You may note that Jupiter, Venus, Moon, Saturn, Sun and importantly Mars all are predominantly connected to Maraka and Bhadhaka houses and also 8th house.
