Guest guest
Hello Friends, A lot of discussion is going on now-a-days on the Asc-Moon connection method of birth time rectification. Though I have never used it but always suspected its authenticity due to being unaware of the rationale behind the method. The method is quite old now and there will definitely be many regular users of this method. I believe that this group, probably being the biggest on KP, is the best place to have such kind of polls. I request everybody to share his invaluable experience. Here is the link to the poll - /surveys?id=11996085 Thanks & Regards, Punit Pandey
Guest guest
Dear Punit, 1. I agree with you. Perhaps rules were set by our sages with their intuitive power and scientific knowledge (e.g. a particular order of planet periods and allottment of each planet a particular numbers of years in Vimsottari dasa) and by great astrologers of our time on the basis of their experience or research with hundreds of consultants or charts. Rules may not agree to each and every native and there may be rare exceptional natives, execptional charts. For those exceptional ones significant life events may not agree with rules like in mathematical formulars. The following quotations are worthy to note: (1) KSK, " Many general rules which should not be strictly applied. Many modifications are to be included.--- Analytical study, correct intuition and good judgment are needed -– " KP Reader III. (2) B. V. Raman, " Astrology is a subject where not only an insight into its techniques is needed but also certain amount of intuition. Experience can gradually make appreciate the nuances of the predictive art. " (A Note On Problems In Prediction, by Pemmaraju V.R.Rayudu) 2. However rules may not be reversed by the correctness of one or two exceptional cases since rules are usually set on the basis of hundreds of charts and it is not mathematics. In mathematics, one case is enough to prove, e.g. in 1960's one young chinese mathematician was honoured with a higher acknowledgement than a PhD and someone got PhD in Mathematics with a thesis of 3 pages by reversing wellknown mathematical concepts and Einstein became famous for reversing Newton's theory but he got Nobel Price for another contribution not for that reversal. 3. As far as my reading goes, even Dr. K.R. Kar and Prof. K. Balachandran do not outrightly reverse KP rules of Retrogression and Punarphoo in their presentation of SUB SUB theory. In his examples Prof. K. Balachandran usually explains why Retro planet is taken into consideration and how Punarphoo is cancelled according to the Retrogression Theory and Punarphoo Cancellation Theory propounded by Dr. K. Kar, i.e. keeping the ball in control started to roll by Dr. Kar, not just rolling the ball. It has been pinned down for Dr. Kar's original Retrogression Theory of KK (Kar Padhdhati) to be in KP Annual 2001, a missing copy of which has been requested again from my book supplier at any cost. 4. Even though Dr. Kar's articles are reserved for copy right, hopefully someone may explain generally his rules of exemption from KP Retrogression rule. Thanks and best regards, tw , Punit Pandey <punitp@g...> wrote: > Hello Friends, > > A lot of discussion is going on now-a-days on the Asc-Moon connection > method of birth time rectification.
