Guest guest
et al, For those interested in seeing whether Rahu and Ketu cast aspects and whether SEs are valid predictive tools, have a look at the following which I have picked off another List. Apparently a lady phoned an astrologer early this month and told him of a gentleman who was depressed almost to the point of suicide. Data is as follows: DOB 19/6/1949, 2:12am PST +8:00, San Diego CA 32N42'55 117W09'23 Asc 23Aries 48 geocentric angles. You will see that Rahu and Ketu are in the 12th and 6th house. In the last SE of 13 Oct 2004 the SE point was very close conjunction Ketu on the Ketu/Rahu axis. SE Rahu was EXACTLY trine natal Saturn who is in the star of Ketu. Natal Ketu is in the star of Mars which is Lord of 1st and 8th house. Here we see natal Ketu signifying the 1st 6th and 8th being highlighted by the SE. Natal Rahu which is in the Star of Mercury Lord of the 6th, in the SE aspects Saturn which being in the star of Ketu again refers to the 6th house. Note also Ketu is associated with Neptune also in the 6th house. This shows anti social or communal behavior. You will note that the promise of the SE is manifesting now when transiting Rahu moves on to conjunct its natal position. The dasas are Moon Rahu Sun. Moon is in the star of Saturn and Sub of Rahu, so we see the two planets that are active in creating the event ie SE Rahu and natal Saturn. Incubators of the event from the SE are Buhkti Rahu (by close aspect with natal Saturn) and SE Sun by close aspect to natal Ketu.
