Guest guest
Dear Sri. Lajmi ji: According to KP Rahu and kethu are stroner than the planets , ONLY when they are conjoined or aspected by these significators . Rahu and Kethu do not ASPECT any house or planets , according to KP . What are the aspects of Rahu and Kethu; 3,7,10 or 5 .9 or 4 ,8, or only 7 ? Which KP reader mentions about the aspects of Rahu and Kethu ? Are we mixing the Vedic Astrology theories with KP System in this group ? Also the SE system is difficult to analyse with KP System . I think only KP system and new research in this system only should be focussed in this paricular group , where there are lot of learned KP Scholars . Your comments are appreciated . Thank you . Guest guest
My understanding is that RAHU and Ketu have only two aspects, viz., conjunction and opposition. Rahu and ketu can be agents of other planets which aspect them, and these planets are already significators. So we have to consider Mars,Sat, and Jupiter, who can have aspects other than conj, and opp. If they are significators, and cast an aspect on Rahu/Ketu, then Rahu/ Ketu becom significators also, and will be strong significators. B Sridhaeran <raichur_m wrote: Dear Sri. Thank you . Guest guest
Dear SRW, Staying with only what the founder propounded is tantamount to saying that there will never again be any advances in KP. This is the way of decline - to reject out of hand anything not stated in the 'bible' of the subject. Fundamentalism has the weakness of organic decay - as we have seen throughout history. I am certain that K.S.K. would never have condoned such a position, because he himself was a great innovator borrowing freely from other systems - even Western astrology. Taking up the first of the two points you mention - aspects of Rahu and Ketu, all I can say is why not experiment yourself. You will quickly see time and time again relevant nodal effect, as Rahu and Ketu come close aspect to natal planets. It is interesting to note that the two most successful members in the Blind Charts Sandy and Kanak both use Rahu and Ketu aspects. Regarding the question of using SEs, I find it hard to believe that anyone would find it " difficult to analyse with the KP system " . If you use transits in astrology you are using exactly the same techniques required for SEs because a SE is just that - a transit. To eliminate all but what the founder considered, is to consign his system to the backwaters, because other insightful students will take his great work, and build on it using new tools and new ideas. New ideas that work cannot be contained. All the best Ron Gaunt On Sat, 5 Mar 2005 10:10:59 -0800 (PST), you wrote: >Dear Sri.
