Guest guest
Hi please tell how do u get ST 5-42-54 whereas even rough calculation may lead it beyond 6hr as I got which is explained below ST for 22 may is -- 3hr 57 min42 sec LMT is -- 2hr 58min 54sec (because 77w37 longitude gives +3 min 54 sec coreection to get LMT ) Others corrections like years correction or correction to indian sid time or others which may hardly makes difference upto some min are not taken into consideration here for illustration purpose. Since birth time is after noon ,the above mentioned two values will be added which will be fairly near to 6hr 45min approximately. Again that amount of ST will suggest ascendent near about 15 virgo. I would like to be pointed out where am i wrong ,why I am not getting 3 virgo ascendent even by manually and not by horosoft and horoscope explorer software which i have . Guest guest
NEW DELHI-110028, 15-02-2005. Dear Mr.Gaunt, I have seen your KPBC9 giving details of a birth on 22-5-1951. As per K.P.principles events are controlled by the period Lords i.e., Dasa, Bukthi, Anthar and Sookshma. Unless these period Lords are concerned with any of the topics mentioned by you, the event cannot happen. On 17-10-1977 when the event has happened the Native was under the sway of VENUS / SUN / KETHU / MOON as Dasa, Bukthi, Anthar and Sookshma Lords respectively. The Dasa Lords capacity to give an event is controlled by its Star Lord and conclusively by its Sub Lord. In this Case Venus the Dasa Lord is in the Star and Sub of Jupiter. All Astrologers know that apart from other factors, the events are given by the Planets based on their inherent characteristics. In that case this Jupiter who has come as both Star and Sub Lord to the Dasa Lord Venus, cannot give 1 = Murder, 3 = Falling and fracturing legs and 4 = Sexual action. Therefore the only event that could have happened on the date mentioned by you clearly points to No.2 only i.e., TOOK MONASTIC VOWS. Let me now explain in detail how and why I have arrived at this conclusion. Jupiter the Star and Sub Lord to Venus the Dasa Lord, is the significator for houses 1, 7, 5, 6, 4, 7 and 8. If one wants to know which of these houses results this Jupiter will give through Venus, in its period, he should not go by this mere significations. He should study the Cuspal Sub Lords of these houses in the Birth Chart deeply since these Cusps are like Boxes containing various things inside them and only the Cuspal Sub Lords can open the box i.e., the Cusps and reveal to us what he will / can give. In the Chart it is seen that Cusps 1,7 and 8 are under the control of Saturn, owner of 5 and 6 and occupying 12th. He is in the Star of Sun, who owns this 12th house and Sun is occupying the 9th house and conjoining Mars, a very strong significator for 9 about which I will deal in detail later on. Therefore Jupiter signifying these houses can give result of only these houses i.e., 5,6,9 and 12 and not the houses signified by him. Houses 5,9 and 12 leads one to think of Sanyas or to be away from worldly desires etc., 5th Cusp controlled by Kethu is occupying 12th representing Sun who is occupying the 9th. Interestingly it is seen that Sun whom this Kethu represents is in the Sub of Venus, the Dasa Lord itself about whom we are now discussing. Kethu is Gyana / Moksha Karaka involved with houses 9 and 12 with Athma Karaka Sun clearly indicates only retirement from worldly affairs like Sanyas or Monastic life. The 6th Cusp is controlled by Rahu occupying the 6th house, Sign of Saturn and hence will represent Saturn only about whom we have already discussed. Saturn being in retro motion is aspecting the 10th house, the house of retirement from life. Thus Rahu also supports only Monastic life. The 4th Cusp is controlled by Venus the Dasa Lord himself about whom we have discussed. Therefore the Dasa Lord Venus can lead the Native to take to Monastic life only. Let us further see whether the other Lords i.e., SUN, KETHU AND MOON supports the decision of the Dasa Lord Venus. We have already seen that Kethu represents Sun already discussed above. Sun himself is owner of 12 and occupying 9th and he is in his own Star and Sub of Venus the Dasa Lord, already discussed in detail. Moon, the controller of Mind which makes one to think first, a precursor for action, is in the Star of Mercury, the owner of the Ascendant and 10th and occupying 6th. We have already seen that 10th house represents one's retirement from life and the Ascendant has fallen in a Sign which is the 12th from Libra owned by Venus, the Karaka for Sexual Pleasures and thus negating such actions on the part of the Native. Let us now consider the transit of these period Lords viz., Venus, Sun, Kethu and Moon on 17-10-1977 when the event happened. Venus = Mercury Sign, Sun Star and Mars Sub. Sun = Venus Sign, Mars Star and Mercury Sub. Kethu by itself: Jupiter Sign, Mercury Star and Sun Sub. Moon = Mars Sign, Mercury Star and Sub. It may be seen that Mercury has played a predominant role on that day in all capacities i.e., Sign, Star and Sub Lord. Next comes Mars in similar capacities i.e., Sign, Star and Sub Lord. Please note here that this Mars signifies houses 9 and 12 only, especially 9th 4 times in the BC. The other Planets are Sun, Venus and Jupiter, about whom we have already seen as to how they will give result. The discussion cannot be complete unless we examine deeply the 5, 9 and 12th Cusp Sub Lords. Of this we have already seen about the 5th Cusp Sub Lord which is Kethu. The 9th Cusp Sub Lord is Mars, with no Planets in his Stars and hence very powerful to give result of the 9th house which he also signifies 4 times and in KP the more number of times a Planet signifies a house it is more powerful to give the result of such house/s. Thus this Mars is powerful to give result of 9th house only i.e., Monastic thinking in a very strong manner. The 12th Cusp Sub Lord is Jupiter himself about whom we have already seen very deeply. Thus it is found that all the period Lords with their transit on that day which are to give any event in one's life points towards only one event on that date conclusively i.e., TAKING OF MONASTIC VOWS. Under the circumstances my answer is for No.2 only. Guest guest
dear sir, it is interesting that we both came to the same conclusion, but according to my software program (gorovani jyotish), this person was running VEN KET JUP SUN on 17/10/1977, instead of VEN SUN KET MOO as per your analysis. nevertheless i found your analysis quite good. for my own part, i noted that 12 house matters were highly signified by JUP, KET, SUN these finding places in all four levels of signification. the lord and sub of the 12 house, Ketu and Jupiter suggested Moksha. Ven and Ketu are significators of 3rd and 10th house affairs as well, with Jupiter the star lord of the 3rd house cusp. 3rd house suggests studies, which a monastic would undergo, short journeys, which he would probably on the day of his vow, and loss of home, which is the essence of the monastic path. 10th house being strongly signified as Ket is a first rate significator and Venus a 2nd rate significator for 10 strongly suggests that matters of career or life path for this person. Sun shooksma brings in 9th house affairs strongly, being in the 9th and being its own star lord. transits on this day: Venus was in Mercury sign, Sun star and Ketu sub, conjuncting the natal ascendant. (Mercury is another 1st rate significator for 12th house affairs) Ketu is in Jupiter sign, Mercury star and Sun sub, conjuncting natal Jupiter. Jupiter is conjuncting natal Venus. How could the results on this day have been anything other than auspicious? the absence of Mars and Saturn as a significator seemed to rule out murder and accident, and without Mars being a big player in relation to Venus it is hard to see how sexual harassment could have been a possibility. well, after all that, i hope this is the right answer! john h - kpk3010 Tuesday, February 15, 2005 4:23 AM Re: KPBC9 NEW DELHI-110028,15-02-2005.Dear Mr.Gaunt,I have seen your KPBC9 giving details of a birth on 22-5-1951. Guest guest
Dear Ron and Group, On October 17, 1977, this man was running Ve/Ke/Mo/Sa dasha. With the heaviest influence on the 3rd and 10th houses, but while additionally giving some consideration to the significators pointing to the 8th and 12th – and a few other things that make me want to take a more serious in depth look, I feel he either took monastic vows OR murdered his first victim… Ok - Quite a stretch - I know J - but something is nagging at me about this chart, and I can’t put my finger on it (yet). I hope I find the time to look more closely before the time runs out, and only then will I comment further. But briefly, my first impression was to select #2 “took monastic vows” - but then too many things look amiss - like the tight transit PL/RA conjunction tightly squaring natal Venus – who squares bhukti lord Ketu from 8th lord badhaka Jupiter’s star and sub, (who is Venus’ star, sub, and sub-sub), and transit Saturn squaring the natal Su/Ma conjunction from the 12th - maybe I’m just too tired to be looking at this tonight, but something about this chart makes me uncomfortable - at this point - to say definitively either way. Guest guest
Dear Ron and Group, This chart was bugging me so being a glutton for punishment J - I picked it back up for another look. I just cannot easily dismiss the dusthana/maraka/badhaka activations, the powerful aspects of an adverse nature, the fact that Jupiter is Venus’ star, sub and sub sub lord, is badhaka and lord of the 8th – along with a multitude of other things that I am finding are not at all of a monastic or spiritual nature. I believe this man was a serial murderer, and therefore my selection is number 1: “Murdered his first victim”. The natal and the transit charts both speak to me of violence toward women - actually from Rasi to Navamsha to Transit charts. In addition to what I said in my earlier email, Ve/Ur conjoined in the 12th from Pluto and the maraka 2nd from the Su/Ma (violent) conjunction, while square badhaka Jupiter and Sa/Ne (end of life) from the 1st, leads me to believe that he exhibited unprovoked maniacal and violent behavior toward women – who experienced sudden death (Ve/Ur) at his hands. On October 17, 1977, transit Pluto conjoining T Rahu in the 1st (powerful violence) conjoining natal Neptune (involving matters of life) and both opposing the transit Ketu conjunction to natal badhaka Jupiter in the maraka 7th, while transit Venus – debilitated in Virgo - conjoining natal death lord Saturn from the 12th and opposing natal Jupiter – these aspects are just too powerful for me to think that this man has any kind of spiritual nature. (Perhaps I’m losing my marbles though.) I think the chart is very descriptive of a murderer. Natal Venus is disposed of by Mercury (lagna lord) in the house of Mars and the star of Ketu, while the Ma/Su (aggression/violence) conjunction is in the 12th from Venus (women). Death for many women was perhaps sudden (Ve/Ur) and violent (natal Pluto in the 2nd from Ve/Ur), and may have involved powerful dominance and control, by using force with his hands to kill (with Me/Ve/PL/Ra all transiting his first, a Mercury (hands) lagna lord, and in light of the aspects already mentioned above. It’s late, I’m tired, and I could be very wrong – but I just can’t see it any other way in light of the above, and more which I have not written. Forgive me if this man is, in fact, a holy man and not a mass murderer as I view him to be. L That’s my 2 cents. Guest guest
Dera Ron and All, 1. KPBC9 is agrreable with the KP general rule to become a sanyasin i.e. the sublord of the cusp of the Ascendant should be a significator of 9 (tapasthana) or 10 (karmaathana) and also 12 (mokshasthana) and also be connected with Saturn, the karaka for Sanyasa. 2. The Moon in the sub of Saturn shows high degree of mental concentration. 3. But the Sun does not occupy the sub of planets strongly connected to houses 5, 9 & 12 for one to be deeply religious; instead sub Venus indicates 7,10,4,7,8 & 3 houses. 4. Moreover, for spiritual success (siddhi) the sublord Mercury of 11th cusp signifies 12,8,1,2 & 10 houses instead of required 5th (initiation), 10th (sadhana) & 11th (siddhi). 5. In addition the timing of 17-10-1977 (Ve/Ke/Mo dasa & transit) is not indicating 5th house (initiation for sanyasin). 6. Almost exact conjunction of Sun and Mars opposite to Moon, especially in Scorpio, aspected by Saturn opposite stronger Jupiter are indicators of a serial killer, and with combination of Venus in Gemini, KPBC9 may not be a sanyasin i.e. No 2. 7. May not be No.4 since 10th is strong and also may not No.3 due to lack of indicators in natal chart despite of some indications at that timing. 8. The possible answer is No. 1.
