Guest guest
et al, In the book 'Secrets of R.P & the Birth Time' on pages 28 and 62 examples are given which narrow the time of birth in a day by dividing the day in three portions. The first part of the day relates to Cardinal, the 2nd to Fixed and the 3rd to Mutable signs. These are checked relative to the RP Ascendant Sub Lord. My question is: Where does the day start for this method? Is it 00:00am? or does the day start with local sunrise? Ron Gaunt

Guest guest
Pranav, I Know the day is considered to start at local sunrise normally. What I was wondering was whether this also applied to this particular technique. Re-reading page 62 I now realize that the author in fact uses 00:00am, for he states 'the ascendant sub lord is transiting in a movable sign, the client should have been born in the morning hours'. Later he mentions there are three possibilities for the Lagna. The first he quotes is 'Meenam -UP TO SUNRISE'. He therefore obviously starts the day for this technique as 00:00am. Guest guest
Dear Kanak, Again thanks for the reference. I must have read it on my way through the book but I have never had a very good memory, and it is certainly not getting better as I get older.
