Guest guest
Dear List, Happy new year. I want to ask a basic question on benefics and malifics. In Astrosecrets part 1 the writer has emphasised that jup by way of aspect will always be benificial even if he is lord of malific houses. He has said that sat and mars by way of aspect will always be malific even if they have lordship of the benefic houses. I have following questions to ask: a. What will happen when conjuction of jup or sat/mars takes place? b. It is said that if a planet aspects the other planet especailly the the outer planets they effect the sig of the aspected planet and the aspected planet becomes the representative of the aspecting planet. In the light of the above facts doesn't jup afflicts if it holds the malific houses and sat , mars fortify the planets if they are having the beneficial houses. kindly enlight me on the topic. with regards, Anurodh The all-new My – What will yours do? HOW TO JUDGE WHETHER A PLANET IS A BENEFIC OR A MALEFIC KP Reader III, 1984, Part 2, pp 125-130 OR KP Reader IV, 1983, pp 125-130 One is to take each planet and consider in which constellation it is, the lord of constellation and note in which houses the lord of the constellation is the owner and find out the matters signified by the lord of the constellation according to its ownership of the Bhava (never take into judgement where it is posited, its nature, etc.) --- - If the sublord is a benefic, then when the matter indicated by the lord of the constellation if agreeable, the person will enjoy in full. But if the lord of the constellation indicate beneficial results and the sublord shows adverse ones, then the star of lords of 6 or 8 or 12 are evil. 3. Guest guest
Anurodh ji, Happy New Year. In KP there is no concept of malefic or benefic. A planet can be good for one thing and bad for another. So do you think it is logical to talk about malefic and benefic? Sri KSK has given one scenario where in the same dasa period one has got the job and lost his father (AFAIR). Guest guest
Anurodh, tw, et al, Regarding - " In Astrosecrets part 1 the writer has emphasized that Jup by way of aspect will always be beneficial even if he is lord of malefic houses. He has said that Sat and Mars by way of aspect will always be malefic even if they have lordship of the benefic houses. " - I think that this quote needs some qualification as shown by the following quotes from tw. Have a look at the following case which I have just been studying: Fem DOB 19th Oct 1953 4:42pm IST -5:30 28N39, 077E13 Lagna KP 10Pisces 55'55 " Geocentric angles. This is the chart of a lady who never married. There is a close stellium of Sun, Saturn and Neptune in the 7th house (KP). This stellium receives a close trine aspect from Jupiter. But as we have seen the lady did not have the fruits of marriage, even though the planets were in the 7th house and receiving trine aspect from Jupiter. The problem appears to be primarily with Venus. Venus sits right on the cusp of the 7th house and is debilitated. Venus is in the Star of Sun Lord of 6H and sub of Venus. As Venus is badly placed being in the 6th house she denies marriage. This is reinforced by the Jupiter aspect, as Jupiter is in the Star of 2nd Lord Mars and again in the sub of Venus. So 2nd house family benefits are also denied. There are other indications ie. Venus being afflicted by Rahu. Also Sun, Saturn and Jupiter are in the Star of 2nd House Lord Mars. All these planets are 1st Class Significators for the 6th house. As the 6th is 12th to the 7th House this again shows marriage and family denial. Guest guest
Dear Ron Gaunt, 1. MARRIAGE DENIAL, GRAPES ARE SOUR, KP Reader IV, 1984,pp 105-106 One need not commit to memory many a sloka. The simple rule is , note the sublord of the the 7th cusp; if the sublord is connected with 4, 6, 10th houses, one will be denied of marriage. 2. A DENIAL OF MARRIAGE, PUNARPHOO by K. Subramanium, pp 129-137 As per KP System if the sublord of the 7 th cusp is not a significator of 2 or 7 or 11, there will not be any marriage. (p 132) 3. Seventh House, Astrosecrets & KP, Part 1, p 158 When the sublord of the 7th and sublord of the 2nd are connected only to houses 6 and 12 predominantly and that sublord if it is Saturn or Mars or Sun, then there will be no marriage in his lifetime. Guest guest
Dear Ron Gaunt, 1. As per analysis of the example in " MARRIAGE DENIAL, GRAPES ARE SOUR, KP Reader IV, 1984,pp 105-106 " , a) 7th Sbl Moon in 12th not favorable to marriage. b) Moon is in Stl Rahu in 11th, also representing Saturn in 7th but in Sbl Mars in 6th. (Saturn is ruler of 11 & 12 th) c) Moon is in Sbl Mars in 6th. 2. If TOB is moved ahead 1 minute, i.e. 16:43 PM IST, 7th Sbl will be Mars in 6th and in Stl Sun, 6th ruler. Guest guest
Dear tw, Please see comments ** .............. ** Ron Gaunt For anyone who wishes to run the chart under discussion (4th Reader Page 105) I have worked out birth details as follows: DOB 12th June 1928 6:20pm IST -5:30 13N15, 080:17 (This appears to be a suburb of Chennai {Madras}) On Wed, 05 Jan 2005 14:32:55 -0000, you wrote: > > >Dear Ron Gaunt, > >1. According to my Solar Fire software which I have always found to be exceptionally accurate - this starts at 4:47:29pm. This appears too far away from a precisely quoted birth time. ** > ** PS. In the Reader - bottom of page 105 it states 'a person is denied marriage when the 7th Cusp sub lord is deposited in the constellation of the significators of 4,6 and 10'. Presumably this should read 1,6 and 10 because it goes on to say 'because the houses 2.7.and 11 show the marriage, and hence THE 12th HOUSES TO THESE HOUSES indicates denial of the marriage'. It does go on to mention the 4th house but in the context of denial of love affairs (not marriage) and denial of children. Houses 1,6, and 10 are the ones mentioned on pages 1 to 15 of 'A Practical Astrology' > >Best regards, > > >tw > > > , rongaunt <rongaunt@b...> wrote: >> >> >> Dear tw, >> >> The rules don't appear to be valid in this case!! >> >> Please see comments ** .....................** >> >> >> Ron Gaunt >> >> >> >> On Wed, 05 Jan 2005 03:57:13 -0000, you wrote: >> >> > >> > >> >Dear Ron Gaunt, >> > >> >1.
