Guest guest
EARTHQUAKE CHART According to the US Geological Survey, World Data Center the recent major earthquake took place on 26th Dec 2004 at 00:58:49 am UT +0:00 at 03N14'38 " , 095E49'30 " . With an Asc of 28 Sag 30'23 " the Badhakasthana is the 7th house. Houses 2 and 7 are Marakasthanas. Therefore 7th Lord Mercury and 2nd Lord Saturn are terminally malefic. The first thing we see is the Ketu/Rahu axis closely straddling the MC/DC, and Saturn being close conjunction 7th house cusp. This creates a very powerful malefic Mundane square on the most critical angles of the chart. Ketu is proxy for Venus, and Venus is in the constellation and sub of Badhaka/Maraka Mercury. Rahu is in the constellation of Ketu and sub of Mars. Mars is in the constellation of Maraka Saturn and sub of Bhadhaka Mercury. What is unique is that ALL planets are controlled by malefic subs ie this is a very malefic time for transits. Venus is in the constellation and sub of Badhaka Mercury. I point this out because the close conjunction of transit Venus and Mercury is important when we come to look at the chart of Sri Lanka. Also the 8th house Cusp is in the constellation of Mercury and sub of Saturn, and 6th house sub is Mercury, and 12th house sub is Venus which is in the constellation and sub of Mercury. SRI LANKA CHART. According to 'The World Book of Charts' the Sri Lanka Republic was declared on 22nd May 1972. Apparently the time was set by Government astrologers for 12:43pm Colombo. Noticeable in this chart is the close conjunction of Saturn with the MC, the elevated 9th house Sun, the 10th house close conjunction of 10th house Lord Venus with Mars, with both close opposition aspect from Jupiter. From a traditional point of view the time selected makes sense in that the elevated Venus appears strong in its own house, and is dispositor for Saturn and Sun both planets important in Government and mundane affairs. However, a KP astrologer would not have chosen this time because any promise that Venus has, is negated by it being in the sub of 6th house Saturn. The 6th house is the 8th to the 10th house of Government and so will lead to problems and friction. In fact all the subs seem ill disposed. EARTHQUAKE TRANSITS TO SRI LANKA CHART. Most noticeable is transit Venus (in constellation and sub of badhaka Mercury) closely opposes Sri Lanka's MC. Also in close transit conjunction with Venus, Mercury also opposes the MC. (Mercury is ultimately disposed by sub Venus) Transit Sun (in the constellations of Ketu proxied by sub Venus) exactly opposes radical Venus which we have seen is in the sub of problem Venus Possibly the most telling is transit Mars (in the constellation of Maraka Saturn and the sub of Badhaka/Maraka Mercury) EXACTLY opposes chart ruler Sun. As radical Sun is in the sub of problem Venus this is bound to cause problems for the Government and country. Looking at it from a traditional point of view I doubt whether one would consider the earthquake transits much of a problem, because 10th Lord Venus aspects its own 10th house and Jupiter also aspects the 10th from the 2nd house. However, considering it from a KP point of view we can see that there are major problems for Sri Lanka from these transits. This exercise clearly shows the importance of the sub in delineation, and transit. Ron Gaunt
Guest guest
Respected sir, Gr8 analysis... One doubt? Can anyone in the group get details of atleast 7 birth details who died in Deadly Tsunami ? approx 10,000 died? was there any specific points to be looked upon in their chart , or does mundane rules overrides a native chart? If there is any rule applicable to all the charts, then astrology is the way where we can check out for mass killings? Else I feel astrology now is far away from what it should be.... SE 14 Oct 2004 7.13.31 am TZ6 3N14, 95E49 topocentric 1. SE at 27Vi+ in 12th house is in the sign of malefic12th lord Me 2. SE is in the nak of Ma and sub of Ju both 12th house planets. 3. The subsequent Lunar Eclipse (topocentric) MC is conjunct SE Mars. 4. LE Ascendent is square to SE Mars. 5.Mars is a maraka in the SE chart and Su is a badhaka. 6.The ascendent at the event squares the SE point.
