Guest guest
This is my attempt at the blind chart. I have to say at the outset that I have departed from the way KP astrologers do things. Firstly I use a different house system and secondly I have the cusps at the middle of the house. There are a few reasons for this but mainly I just like it this way. KSK did want his students to experiment! I also use an ayanamsha that is more in the direction of Lahiri than Krishnamurti. So using alcabitius cusps and most of the normal KP procedures I found the following significators for the houses. These are the primary significators. Secondary significators can be added by including aspecting planets ( conjunction opposition etc ) 1 Me Ju Ju 2 Mo Sa 3 Ma Mo Me Ju Ju 4 Sa Su Ke Ra Ma 5 Ma Sa Ve 6 Sa Ve 7 Me 8 Ma Mo 9 Sa Ve Me 10 Ve Ra Su Me Ke 11 Me Ju Ju Ma 12 Ma Dasa Period at Event Me Ve Ju Ra Ruling Planets for 10 Oct 1931 Nottingham 5.45pm Ascendent Ma Ke +Su Moon Me Mo Ra Day Sa There are many significators to consider (as usual) but the way I see it, there has to be some common denominator. The common planet between the Rp's and Dasa is Mercury. Mercury is 9th lord in 10H. or by rashi 10th lord in 11H. So Mercury is a key planet and the 10th house is involved. Mercury is a primary significator for houses 1, 3, 7, 9,10,11 The 10th cusp at 19Li 40 = Ve)Ra Ma Cuspal sub lord Mars is Lord 11th house in 5H which suggests a desire achieved in 5H matters. This could be success at gambling or sport. Mars in nak. of Moon L8 in 3H. 3H can be associated with sport. Checking transits of Sun and Moon MO Me Mo Ra SU Me Ma Ma Mercury is involved again. The sub lords are Ra and Ma and Ra can substitute for Ma so Mars has a strong say in the result since it is also a ruling planet. Also Ra is at dasa level 4. So the event has a Mars flavour . I think the event will be ----achieving some recognition/honour for winning a sporting competition with possibly a monetary prize. The nakshatra progressed Moon is at 20Pi40 and this is opposed by a transiting Raj yoga in 10H between Su and Me. Another reason to suspect some career highlight. I could be totally off the track here but I think it is useful to put forward a good story and some form of systematic approach. I think the concept of doing blind charts is a good one because it takes one from the theoretical to the real world. What is the use of theory if it can't be tested? If this was a sporting contest, it may be interesting to find which sport. I have my theories on this. Regards Ron Day
