title,Jyotish Marthand at a ceremony by the Bharitiya

Vidya Bhavan my Shri K.M.Munshi,in recognition of his

in which constellation it is deposited. (according to

that star lord deposit and lordship).

i am giving one ex. to clear understanding ,

supppose for aries(mesha ) lagna born ,kuja(mars) is lord of 1 and 8 and he is deposited in 5th and in the start of ketu who is deposited in 11th house(kumbam).

 

if 3rd cusp sl is kuja ,then how he will signify that 3rd cusp matters?

and why he is a supremo ?

 

i think all of our group will respond in this and resolve the basics of kp.

Dear Shri Amar

 

When you are considering the 3rd House Matters, like Younger Brother, Short Travel, Communcations, Rumours etc. as ker KP you have to consider primarily the Sub Lord Of the Cusp. In the Example you have quoted, the Cusp Lord is Ketu. So, this planet will decide, not the Sign Lord Star Lord, nor planets in the #rd House.

 

The significators of the 3rd house are determined by The STAR LORDS of the OCCUPANTS, THE OCCUPANTS, Then THE Planets in the STAR LORD of the Owner of the Sign of the House. Then Owner of the House. These are in order of importance.

 

No Sub-lord of the cusp is will be a Significator of Some houe/houses.

 

If this Sub Lord (mars in your example) is the significator of any house which is 1,2,3,6,10,11 from 3rd i.e if it signifies 3,4,5,8,12,1 then it is favorable. The 3rd house matters prosper. Otherwise it is not favouracle.

 

In the example Mars is in 5th House. So he Signifies 5th.(2nd order). He also signifies

1,8 (LORDof House)-4th Order

So it is favorable to 3rd house. So 3rd House matters prosper.
