Guest guest
All members, I forward the text of a message which I have been authorized to copy from another List. Does KP have the answer?? As far as I can see there is only a difference between these twins at the sub sub level. Ron Gaunt TEXT I have a question on the charts of a set of twins. They are my nephews, born about 5 minutes apart.. The elder twin is a doctor, married, lives and works in New York while the younger twin is an engineer, still unmarried, lives and works in San Francisco. Their father who is my younger brother has asked me to check why the younger one is till unmarried despite all their efforts to get him married. The charts of the twins are given below. The rasi chart is the same but in the navamsa chart the elder twin has the ascendant in Aries while for the younger twin the ascendant changes to Taurus. I suspect THIS may explain the marked differences in their life outcomes. Can I request to you kindly explain the astrological reason for the different outcomes in life. I want to understand this for my own learning experience. Thank you for you time and guidance in this matter. Guest guest
Dear Ron, First,pl.correct the birth times of both twins, such that,in each case, the s/l of I is the starlord of the native... Then, note down the respective sign/l,st/l,sub/l & s/s/l...for all 12 cusps... You will then be able to SEE the differences, and explain them,accurately...it will be more appropriate,of course,to use K.P. ayanamsa... With best wishes, lyrastro1 GOOD LUCK ! Guest guest
I cast the charts using the KP aynamsa. There is a change in the SUB Lords of ASC,2nd ,11th though 7th remains same e.g. RAHU. The dasa changes by 8 days.. No problem. my own nephews were born with a 10 min gap. One is a dentist, the other a Mechanical Engineer-----Both connected to teeth-one Human, the other Metallic. Guest guest
Dear Yogesh, With the calculated time given for twin 1 the Ascendant is 13 Taurus 19. The sub Lord of 1 is Rahu, and the Moon Lord is Sun. To change the sub lord of 1 to the Su means taking an earlier birth time with 10* Taurus or less. This means a discrepancy of over 12 minutes in the reported birth time. In fact it has to be earlier by at least another 5 minutes because the 2nd twin also has the Sun as the Moon Lord - and he too must come within the boundaries of 10* Taurus. This means that the discrepancy is in fact at least 17 minutes between reported birth time and the rectification. I notice in an earlier mail a previous correspondent was querying a large discrepancy in reported birth time and rectification by this method; and was doubtful that it could be correct. Is it in fact normal to have such large discrepancies when doing this type of rectification? and if so what is the reason? Guest guest
The checcking of the Birth time is done by the RULING PLANET Method in KP. In such a method the Rps of the Birth have to agree with the RPS,. The sign Lord of the MOON in RP has to be the sign Lord of the ASC. This will agree in twins as the Lagna changes only in about 2hrs. The RP Moon wont change its Star Lord, many be the whole day. With the sign established, the RP ASC starlord /sub lord will be the Birth ASC starlord/ sublord. Better check the BOOKs. rongaunt <rongaunt wrote: Dear Yogesh,With the calculated time given for twin 1 the Ascendant is 13Taurus 19. Guest guest
I would tend to agree with Ron, this is the first time in my life somebody is saying the one born later is elder of the two. Mr. Raichur, could you elaborate a bit more on this. Does this logic apply in case of twins only or does it apply in general? If prior is TRUE then could you point me to the appropriate literature. If later is TRUE it would be contrary to the usual belief. -Rajneesh --- rongaunt <rongaunt wrote: > > anant, > > In the West we would consider the first born as the > elder > brother. > > Ron Gaunt > > On Sun, 24 Oct 2004 13:42:05 +0100, you wrote: > > >Dear Sir, > >i am happy to note the informationpl. > >Regards, > >Jagannathan. > > > >anant raichur <anant_1608 wrote: > >Dear Shri jagannathan > >Medically, the one born later in time, is the Elder > Brother of the one born earlier. Guest guest
TWINS: The logic applies only to twins. The first-born is the one concieved later, and hence younger. Guest guest
Anant, Thanks for your reply. As a beginner I was expecting the star lords to be the determining factor, as they pinpoint the houses concerned. I thought the sub lords were simply the ones who gave or denied permission. Would you mind explaining how you see the sub lords acting in these two cases for the question of marriage and occupation. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear All, In this connection I would like to submit what someone else had to say on the subject: SUB: JANMA LAGNA and BIRTH - clarification Perhaps this a sanskrit verse can clear the doubt: Kritetvadhana lagnam tu tretayam pum-savanam tatha l Dwapare shirodayam syat kalau BHOOPATANAM smritam ll which means the LAGNA or the ascendant is taken as Garbadhana (Conception) moment in KRITA/SATYAYUGA, Pum-Savana(sex change to male) moment in TRETAYUGA, Shirodaya(Baby's head out moment) in DWAPARAYUGA and Bhoo-patana(Ground touch moment) of the baby in KALIYUGA. So now,the ground touch or complete birth (NOT CUTTING OF UMBILICAL CORD) is the moment to be considered, which is complete coming out of baby and touching any EARTHY article, may be bed. Cutting of umbilical cord may or may not be before the ground-touch. Even though umbilical cord is attached..baby starts respiration as soon as it comes out and cries, which makes it a separate and independant entity. Some argue that Pumsavana of TRETA-YUGA matters only for males and so is faulty. But a different version gives JALODAYAM instead of Pumsavanam(tretayam jalodayam tatha) ie the rupture of watery bag around the baby before the birth allowing it to breathe. I guess that the latter is correct! When the birth doesnot happen through the birth canal(YONI), such a baby whether caesarean or anything else is called AYONIJA (Na yoner janma yasya tat) and there are many combinations given for AYONIJA births in classical texts. Hope you find them useful! Food for thought. Guest guest
Dear Rongaunt For marriage, the 7th cusp is important. KP rule is the SUB_LORD of 7th cusp should be a Significator of 2nd or 11th or 7th. Then only Marriage is forseen. For Checking the Time of Marriage, we take the Dasas of the significators of 7th,2nd, and 11th, also see significator of 5th (love affairs). The conjoined periods of the Significators indicate the period of marriage. Here for each Planet check where its sub-lord is placed. If this is placed in 1,2,3,6,10,11 from the house in question, then it is considered helpful. favourable to give the result of the house. rongaunt <rongaunt wrote: Anant,Thanks for your reply. As a beginner I was expecting the star lords to be thedetermining factor, as they pinpoint the houses concerned.I thought the sub lords were simply the ones who gave or deniedpermission. Guest guest
True| Age is measured based on the Birth Date. Very rarely one measures it by the Time of Birth. Birth is directly related to Conception, In practice, for Twins a difference of a few minutes does not matter in practical world. But when it comes to Astrology, and Marriages, this matters very much. In India the youger brother/sister is not married before his/her elder twin. any way, some one shuld cast the charts of the twins, and see how they are related. good luck Alexandro de Montemayor <alexandrodem wrote: There is only one problem: That age is not measured by the time of conception but by the moment a baby is out of the womb.
