Dear members

The question of polygamy is really mind boggeling. In my opinion, if a person has dasa/antardasa of planets indicating 1,6,10 and 2,7,11 many times then the native will be having separations and marriages as per dasa running at the time pf judgement.

I believe that following conditions must be satisfied for polygamy.

In KP, rule for more than one marriage are specified as under:

“Second marriage is indicated if the following two conditions are

simultaneously satisfied:

(i) The sub-lord of the 7th cusp is deposited in a dual sign or in the constellation of a planet in or owning a dual sign or if the sub-lord of the 7th cusp is Mercury; and

(ii) The sub-lord of the 7th cusp is also a significator of either of the houses 2 or 11.

If any of the above two conditions is not satisfied, then second marriage is denied.”

(It is to be noted that signification of 7th house is omitted for the purpose of 2nd marriage.)

Re: Divorce

Dear List,

Polygamy (in secret) also noted when mercury came as sub lord of 7th.

What about certain religion and in the case of old Rajas?

Dear Pandey ji and all the list-members,

It is further stated elsewhere that the above rule applies for “more than one marriage.” It is my understanding that “more than one marriage” includes 3rd or 4th marraige. I have handled a couple of cases of more than two marriages applying the above rule and I have come successful.

I have not come across any specific rule for the 3rd marriage.

Good luck.
