Dear colleagues and friends

Thank you for your prompt responses. As mentioned I am an amateur

astrologer and have been doing it on and off for the past 15 years.

I have used a number of different methods and although most of them

are OK when working out general features the ayanamsa correction is

different hence results in different lagna and moon star(Naksh)e.g

instead of lahiri's correction if KP ayanamsa is used it gives a

more accurate position. This has been my experience (as I said i am

still a student of astrology but have done quite a few) does anyone

else agree. I think the KP sublord system is great especially with

horary astrology but we should not completely dismiss the other

styles. For birth time rectification I do agree the KP system is the

best for it does correct it but it is more accurate if we also apply

the correction used to see if the person is male or female ( ala

astroexpert).

The seminar sounds really great, sadly I won't be able to come as I

live in the UK. I was wondering if I could persuade you all to have

an online conference. This is something I have done in my other

profession as a doctor, where we have an online 3 day conference.

The way it works is that a person presents a paper(research

material) on a discussion board, then colleagues follow up with

questions over a set period(since we ae in 3-4 different continents

with different time zones usually 48 hours is the norm). This has

worked pretty well as long as the number of delegates is set and

no " funny " questions are permitted. What are your thoughts on this?

Yash ji,

The idea of online seminar is really great. Even I am thinking to

expand this group using few more online tools and techniques. I am

waiting for present seminar to finish and only after that we should

think about any other seminar/ conference. First, we should try to

make this seminar success.

Hi

This is simply a w;onderful idea. We can even fix up a time and have an conference chat... that will be more lively and more or less like a seminar itself.

Yes I too feel that KP works well for horary and timing of events. But for general predictions if we combine the vedic and KP it works fine. Ofcourse, even iam a student of astrology. Purely out of interest i am learning this science. This really fascinates me. I joined this group mainly in the interest of learning more about this KP system. So i welcome such ideas, which is an opportunity for people like me to learn more.
