Here I am putting my views on the same and they are essentially not from the book but experience. They are in color.

Well i believe so and have noticed the same.Here it will depend who is more powerful but they will show signs of afflictions.

Regarding Rahu in 7th I don't think Ketu will be completely afflicted but yes progency part will be afflicted due to the fact that both Mer & Ven will be afflicted.

Rahu swears before Moon to leave mischief but I have noticed that Moon always get tainted by Rahu. And the person always suffers from mental problems, lack of confidence and have fear of something/anything. So to say Moon does get tainted by Rahu.

2..Is moon malefic due to rahu?Being malefic and afflicted are two different things. To say malefic is the planet who has sworn to do you harm in whatever strength it could. Whereas an afflicted planet might be wanting to do good to you but due to restriction by some planet it is not getting able to do so. Rest I have explained above.

3..Is Jup(mars too) malefic due to sat and sun being together in #2?It will be malefic by position of Mer and Saturn and not Sun. Venus will be afflicted due to this combination.

Madam BhooshanPriya ji discussed it and answered the queries.Punit jihelped in and consequently few more questions arose........I am very keen to understand the implications and effects of theplanets Placed in houses#1-7-8, since LK says house#1 belongs to

KING #,7 to MINISTER and# 8 belongs to EYES.so If these planets are not working in each others harmony,its going to effect the kundliwala.If u can give little more time and help me ascertain the righteffects of planets,it shall be kind of u.

Regarding this query of yours let me give you an example.There's a family of four in following way

Husband planet in 1st

Wife planet in 7th

Wife's mother planet in 8th

Husband's brother planet in 11th.

Now Husband(1st) consults Wife(7th).In turn Wife is being adviced by her Mother(8th).But Husband's Brother (11th) is inimical to Mother-in-law(8th) and does not let her do the mischief at home through the Wife.

In this way you can easily understand the relationship among these houses.

Alongwith this thing I will also suggest you to take into consideration following things while analysing

Masnui graha

Soye hue graha

Soe hue ghar

Drishtiyan( 6:8; 5:9; 4:10,etc.)

If still you counter any problem in understanding it please feel free to write.1.. Since we have ascertained ketu is behaving neutral,we assumeit is,since ketu represents the only son , and there is no son here

in this case(whether my thinking is right or wrong.. or will keturepresent something else in house #1??),is the placement of Rahumalefic or benefic?RAHU is tremendously harmful if bad in House #7

2...Is the aspect of house #1 to house #7 inimical?Not always. Notable thing is that effects get mixed so well as if milk in water,i.e. unseperable. Planets in 1st shall always influence 7th but not vice-versa.

And apart from this ur analysis is most required,to help meunderstand the chart in total. Pardon me for asking for a timeconsuming task, but plz do it on ur convenience.Priya ji, here I would like to confess that I am not any good at it.
