Guest guest
Dear Professor, What houses and planets/lords do we see for - 1) Past Lives 2) Future Lives Do we also take planets placed IN those houses as significators of Past/Future lives? Many thanks - Sateesh.
Guest guest
Hello dear Sateesh, The balance sheet of past lives is in the form of the birth chart. Purva punyas (good deeds of past lives) are seen from the IX house. Karma of this life (deeds of this life) are seen through the fifth and tenth houses. The strong planets represent the good Karma from past lives, while the weak planets and afflictions to planets and houses represent the bad karma brought forward. Afflictions point to very bad Karma, whereas weaknesses represent milder bad karma. Best wishes. - Sateesh Batas Satva101 Saturday, April 18, 2009 11:40 PM Professor - Past life houses Dear Professor, What houses and planets/lords do we see for - 1) Past Lives 2) Future Lives Do we also take planets placed IN those houses as significators of Past/Future lives? Guest guest
Dear Professor, Is the life is predecided? I mean all the events of life if we are able to see from astrology , that means life is already planned. Then is there any meaning for hard working, will power etc? Please through some light on this matter Regards Pushparaj --- On Sun, 19/4/09, SIHA <vkchoudhry wrote: SIHA <vkchoudhry Re: Professor - Past life houses Sunday, 19 April, 2009, 8:33 AM Hello dear Sateesh, The balance sheet of past lives is in the form of the birth chart. Guest guest
Dear Pushparaj, Before the kind Prof responds to your question, may I key in my thoughts on the subject. Major Events in life are predestined. Matters such as: where and when the individual is born, who his/her parents will be, what type of childhood he/she will have, what type of education that individual will receive, who he/she will marry, what will be the character of the spouse. These major events are based on the individual's past karma. However, having now come into this world, with this background, how that individual shapes up, how he/she makes use of the facilities and environment provided to him/her, will then determine his/her future karma. Most certainly " hard work " and " will power " will shape that individual's future, both in this life and the lives to come. What is indicated in the horoscope chart is not set in stone. Many factors/influences can bring about subtle and even major changes depending on the power and energy of such factors and influences. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. Pushparaj, The life is predecided to a large extent on the basis of past karma (deeds of past lives). It is also predecided if one will get relief through the astrological remedial measures. The well placed lords of the ninth house or the fourth house or the eighth house or the planets Jupiter or Sun help through astral remedies for mitigation of unfavorable planetary influences. Best wishes. - pushparaj alva Saturday, April 25, 2009 10:59 AM Re: Professor - Past life houses Dear Professor, Is the life is predecided? Guest guest
Hi Pushparaj, (If I may chime in...) There are four types of karma noted in the Vedic literature: 1) accumulated result of all past actions in all lives 2) the portion of (1) that you experience in this life 3) current acitvity in the present life that adds to (1) 4) instant karma - do it today, get a result really soon! The natal chart points to the likely expressions of karma in this life. The remedial measures of strengthening weak benefic planets and appeasing the malefics, together with good behaviour, is one way to adjust the karmic expressions. There are many others. The natal chart itself points to one's ability to get in contact with such divine grace. However, by the mercy and blessings of God and guru, even a person without such a good natal chart can be blessed immensely. After all, the accumulated result of all past life actions is not shown in the natal chart for this life. God is unlimited and so is his mercy, forgiveness and help. Therefore, nothing is unchangeable. This much faith we must have or develop.
