Guest guest Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Hi, My birth details are 6-Jan-75 10:45 AM 19N12 72E58 I am trying to analyze my own chart with respect to the problem I am facing. I am having trouble concentrating on daily mundane activities and keep forgetting things. This problem is strange because it does not occur in my professional life. I remember technical things I learnt over 10-12 years ago and can concentrate 100% in technical books. But I can;t remember things that my wife asked me to do 10 minutes ago. Somehow they tend to slip my mind (with not so favourable effects :-)) This has been a problem since childhood. My concentration and menory in studies was 100%, was always in the top 5% of the class throughout my education but at same time concentration and memory in other areas was poor. Coming to my chart and using whatever I have learnt of SA ... Memory is a 5th house matter and my 5th lord Mercury is in the 12th house. It is 11 degrees away from the sun so also combust to some degree. It is conjunt FB Venus. There are no other aspects. 5th house MEP is conjoined by FB saturn (within 2 degrees), FB Jupiter (within 1 degree), FB Sun (within 2 degrees). The aspect from FB Mars is too wide. Going by the state of the 5th house lord Mecury, it could be the reason for my memory problems. What is confusing and frustrating to figure out is why then the problem does not apply to my technical skills? Do the favourable aspects to the 5th house help? The memory loss you describe is not short term in nature - it is simply lack of awareness. Mercury as a signifactor of memory, consciousness and as 8th lord MMP (as well as D5 lord) is badly placed in 12th and afflicts Venus the dispostor of Moon, the dispostor of Moon is additionaly in the 12th house - This contributes largely to your experience. The affliction of debilitated Ketu to the 4th and debilitated Rahu to the 6th house of cancer contribute further. The close influence of Jupiter to the 1st and 5th and the influence of Sun on the 5th provides protective cover. The weak Sun enhances the Weak Saturn by it influence enabling it to provide further protective cover. Two fold remedial measures should help.
