Guest guest Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 Dear Prof, Arising from a constitutional crisis now gripping one of the states in Malaysia, the Ruler (Sultan) sacked the Chief Minister for lacking support in the state legislature attributable to defections from the then ruling party. The incumbent Chief Minister is protesting the legal position as he claims that his removal was against the State Constitution. He has filed a Summons in the High Court for a declaration that he is the rightful Chief Minister, and that the Ruler had acted ultra vires the constitution. Transit wise, transit Rahu (15 degrees) was conjunct transit Jupiter (13 degrees) in Capricorn. Jupiter of course signifies law, wisdom, judgment, and advisers to the state. Rahu conjunction may well have cause some impact by triggering off some bad decision. The new government was then sworn in on the 6th February 2009 at 4pm at Kuala Kangsar (100E55 4N46) +8GMT. With a Gemini Lagna, (MEP 5 degrees) Venus in exaltation (debiliatated in Navamsa) at 8 degrees in Pisces and Mars (disputes, court litigation) at 7 degrees in Capricorn at 7 degrees all come under the affliction of transit Ketu in Cancer (2nd house) governing status as early as 24 May 2009 at 7 degrees and then stationary at 6 degrees between 8th June 2009 - 22nd August 2009. At the same time the Rahu-Ketu axis afflicts the houses posited and houses aspected close to the MEP. In the chart of the newly elected Chief Minister, ( 22.03.1962 Time unknown at Pangkor Island 100E33 4N14 +7.30) planet Sun at 7 degrees in Pisces also gets afflicted during the period stated above. So, my opinion is that the Government will fall, arising out of the impending legal litigation. P/s the current and newly appointed government is backed by just 3 independents giving it its majority.
