Lalita sahashranam and Hanuman chalisa....

Respected Sir:

 

Can any body chant lalita sahashranam or it required an initiation from a guru

to chant the mantra? is it effective if we chat it with out initiation.. I heard

that the original mantra sounds should come from guru's in order to be

effective.. can you please add your opinion?

 

I have learnt that chanting hanuman chalisa will give relief from the evil

effects of planets. what is the porcedure to chant hanuman chalisa?

I have never understood this dilemma that most people have. Why do they think

that this kind of study is meant only for males and not females? I have heard

this form many people around me and cannot quite get why it is percieved to be

'males only' area.

 

Does this have any historical/orthodox reasons?
