Muhurta before Jupiter becomes debilitated

Dear Professor,

I have been asked to provide a time to wear a gem in Fairfield, Iowa USA.

There are really no good times between now and when Jupiter goes into

debilitation so I just located the best one between now and when it transits

into Capricorn. The time is 03:30 7 December 2008. There are several

difficulties with the chart: 3 planets in old age, the Moon is badly placed,

Mercury is debilitated in Navamsh, an aspect of Ketu is within 5 degrees of

Mars and the Sun (more than 4 degrees away). However, no planets or MEPs are

otherwise afflicted, Vimsottari time period is Saturn/Venus, and Venus rules

the chart and is on the MEP of the 4th house.

My question is this: would it be better to find an overall better start time

later when Jupiter is debilitated, but well placed and at more than 5

degrees, and un-afflicted in Capricorn? Or would be acceptable to use the

above time until a better comes up in over a year and Jupiter is in

Sagitarius? Or put off wearing gem until after Jupiter is out of its

debilitation sign?

Hello dear Mr. Paul,

Before Jupiter moves to debilitation there is no good muhurata. It is not there

in the next 3/4 months. If necessary, one can wear the gemstone in a less good

muhurata with the operating sub period of a strong planets. You can use the

time identified by you.

Best wishes.
