Afflictions and combustion

Hello Prof,

 

1.I was looking into an Aries Asdt(MEP 20 deg) horoscope.

I observed that Mars was at 3 deg and Venus at 8deg 43 min

in Taurus. Rahu in Capricorn at 6deg 10 minutes.

Both Venus and Mars are exalted in Navamsa. Venus is not

weak on any other count. Mars is in infancy,but in a Sun like

house, so strength is increased 25 % to 75% and further to

85% due to Exaltation in Navamsa.

 

Do we consider the Mars or Venus to be afflicted by Rahu

in this scenario (almost 3 deg apart)?

 

2. In the same chart Sun was around 21 deg 50 minutes in Gemini and Mercury 14

deg 21 min in Gemini. Mercury is combust.

 

Is this deep combustion or light combustion?

Do we consider the Sun afflicted in this case due to FM mercury?

YES.
