Dear Prof,

I have submitted a chart for your opinion which to a certain extent has baffled

me.

The native is a Cancer native. His MEP is 28 degrees and he has Sun (24

degrees), Mercury (20 degrees) Moon (19 degrees) in the Ascendant.

Sun is the lord of the 2nd, Moon the lord of the Ascendant and Mercury lord of

the 3rd house. Sun main period started in 13th September 2001. He was in the

trading business. However in mid 2004 during Sun Jupiter period his business

collapsed. Due to heavy debts he contracted, he suffered from inability to pay

his dues, he was involved in litigation and his premises was subjected to

foreclosure proceedings.

I quite agree natal debilitated Jupiter, his 6th lord, in the house of trading

(7th house) may have triggered off debts and litigation. But till today after

nearly 5 years he is still unable to be return to normalcy. He ended Sun period

with failures and setbacks. He has just started Moon period with no change in

his position.

My question is why did Sun and even Moon treat him badly?

Birth particulars:

Hello my dear Francis,

Both the Sun and the Moon are weak planets. Jupiter sub period gave the setbacks

at natal Jupiter afflicts the Mars ruling the tenth house. The tenth house is a

weak planet in the chart and under affliction.

Recovering from the setbacks is only possible during the sub periods of strong

or fairly strong planets. In his case this situation is absent.

Best wishes.

This is not good news for people like me with 5 planets in the 6th, 8th

If we are diligent in remedies and propitiations, can there be recovery

from setbacks during time periods of weaker planets?

Thank you.

Hello Lila,

Yes, diligent astral remedies do make a good difference.

Let me share with you a case study. A native born on 6th September, 1971, 0930

hrs. time zone 5.30 hours, 76E08 29N00., Rohtak (India).

In January, 2008, stationary Ketu and Rahu influenced the natal Mercury. The

person did face stress and was advised rest for about a month but his heart and

all tests were clear. He had been performing regular astral remedies since 2002.

The person suffered from this health problem in the sub period of weak Venus but

as soon as the transit influences cleared, there was no problem left. There are

numerous cases which clearly show the positive impact of astral remedies.

Best wishes.

Dear Prof,

Yes, I just  realized after your post that Sun and Moon is indeed weak, hence

the inability of the planets to promote or protect its significations.

Thank you,
