Guest guest
My Dear Professor and Thor, Would you please clue us in as to the future of American car manufacturers? I was interested in GM in particular. A business aquaintence of mine asked if I could tell him the future of GM stock. An interesting question. I told him that not having the birth detail of General Motors Corporation, one could not comment on GM in particular, but effectively tell the state of US car companies by the chart of the US. 1) As Venus rules motor vehicles and is seated in the house of debt in the US chart, this does not bear well in general for US car companies. Am I correct? 2) As Venus rules the 4th house in the US chart, and the 4th ruler has been afflicted by Jupiter lately, this also afflicts US cars companies, as the 4th house rules cars in addition to real estate. Am I correct? 3) 2009 and again in 2010 Jupiter, which governs debt in the US chart, will transit Aquarius, the 8th house of the US chart. As Saturn governs Aquarius and protects mass production and low level manufacturing (I take it this might cover cars) does this mean obstacles due to debt for US car manufacturers? 3) Can you or Thor tell us anything more about the general future of US car manufacturers? Such as when they might pull out of financial problems and become profitable once more? Thank you for your time. Lila
Guest guest
Dear list members, I forward this message from Satva101 for your information as it concerns the SAMVA USA chart. Best wishes, Thor ----- Forwarded Message ----lila Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2008 2:48:08 AMRe: American Car ManufacturersMy Dear Professor,You are exactly right: "So, the manufacturers have to follow bothstrategic and tactical pricing policies for various segment of buyersfrom time to time."But they rarely do! They insisted on going full force with the gasguzzlers in the late 70's and got slam dunked by the Japanese. Why? Thecontinued to ignore the writing on the wall for lower fuel cost until now an used Toyota Prius sells for the same price is was purchased for new. Why? Here's the biggest group of Harvard/Princeton/Yale business schooleducated white males on earth, being paid more than one could ever dreamof, with all the connections one could ever buy in government or makesocially. Year after year after year they make the make backwarddecisions, putting the US automakers in a category where even theAmerican people openly advise to not buy American cars.Pathetic. But it gives one the vision of how strong the influence of theplanets is: that even this group of educated people with all the rightconnections and more money than God cannot put right an industry whosesignifications are compromised by the chart of the country in which theylive. Fascinating!Additionally, I have always wondered at the lack of femininity ofAmerican females and our lack of value of things feminine. The chart goes a long way towards explanation of our rather red neck culture.LilaHello Lila,Car is both a necessity and a luxury. So, the manufacturers have tofollow both strategic and tactical pricing policies for various segmentof buyers from time to time. From investment point of view this sector is not a good sector for investment - specially with Venus as fourth lord in the sixth house.Best wishes. - lila Wednesday, November 12, 2008 4:55 AM Re: American Car Manufacturers Dear Professor, Yes, I do understand that. I should have said he was not serious when he asked about GM stock. But frankly, it did make me wonder about the fate of the US automotive industry in general. The more I thought about cars and the transits for Cancer rising (US chart), the more I thought it looked like a tough road. I began to wonder myself when, if ever, the American Motor industry might pull out. Not for investment purposes, but for my great curiosity and edification. It seems as though American car manufacturers have ALWAYS made backward moves always had problems. When I saw Venus owner 4th seated in the 6th for the US chart, I began to think they may rally but never pull out of problems -- just like the airlines. Thanks again. Lila Hello Lila, As a matter of policy I do not give opinion on such questions. Your friend should seek a professional consultation on this aspect. Best wishes. - lila Wednesday, November 12, 2008 12:33 AM American Car Manufacturers My Dear Professor and Thor, Would you please clue us in as to the future of American car manufacturers?
