Guest guest
Hi Lila, With regard to your question, please check out the following article: http://cosmologer.blogspot.com/2008/11/bad-year-for-venus.html Indeed, it is the conjunction of transit 6th lord Jupiter to natal 4th lord Venus in the 6th house of the SAMVA USA chart (Perpetual Union) which is causing a lot of problems in the USA. The transits of Jupiter as 6th lord speak more of financial stability in general. However, these would have repercussions for the automotive industry given the placement of Venus as 4th lord in the 6th house. When Jupiter becomes conjunct the stationary Rahu in early February 2009, while the Venus-Jupiter period is still operating, the financial stability in the USA would be expected to experience a set- back. By default, this would also be hard for industries indicated by Venus or the 4th house. Prior to that, in late January, transit Sun will hit the nodal axis which would be difficult for the new President and the indications of the Sun and 2nd house. As for the conditions of the automotive industry in general we would look at the transit afflictions to natal Venus or the 4th house MEP, involving in particular the nodes and Jupiter, given the natal linkages, but also 8th lord Saturn. Guest guest
Hello Lila, As a matter of policy I do not give opinion on such questions. Your friend should seek a professional consultation on this aspect. Best wishes. - lila Wednesday, November 12, 2008 12:33 AM American Car Manufacturers My Dear Professor and Thor, Would you please clue us in as to the future of American car manufacturers? I was interested in GM in particular. A business aquaintence of mine asked if I could tell him the future of GM stock. An interesting question. I told him that not having the birth detail of General Motors Corporation, one could not comment on GM in particular, but effectively tell the state of US car companies by the chart of the US. 1) As Venus rules motor vehicles and is seated in the house of debt in the US chart, this does not bear well in general for US car companies. Am I correct? 2) As Venus rules the 4th house in the US chart, and the 4th ruler has been afflicted by Jupiter lately, this also afflicts US cars companies, as the 4th house rules cars in addition to real estate. Am I correct? 3) 2009 and again in 2010 Jupiter, which governs debt in the US chart, will transit Aquarius, the 8th house of the US chart. As Saturn governs Aquarius and protects mass production and low level manufacturing (I take it this might cover cars) does this mean obstacles due to debt for US car manufacturers? 3) Can you or Thor tell us anything more about the general future of US car manufacturers? Such as when they might pull out of financial problems and become profitable once more? Thank you for your time. Lila
Guest guest
Thor, Thank you for your thoughtful response. When Jupiter goes into the US 8th house, it will give its 9th aspect to the fourth house, which is owned by Venus and therefore a 2-fer for the automotive industry. Looking into the future, do you see American Automotive industry pulling out anytime in the next few years? If so, when you you think this may be? For Cancer rising, Jupiter becomes debilitated and then goes into the 8th house. So I am thinking it may be years. Would yo uplease comment? Thank you. Guest guest
Dear Professor, Yes, I do understand that. I should have said he was not serious when he asked about GM stock. But frankly, it did make me wonder about the fate of the US automotive industry in general. The more I thought about cars and the transits for Cancer rising (US chart), the more I thought it looked like a tough road. I began to wonder myself when, if ever, the American Motor industry might pull out. Not for investment purposes, but for my great curiosity and edification. It seems as though American car manufacturers have ALWAYS made backward moves always had problems. When I saw Venus owner 4th seated in the 6th for the US chart, I began to think they may rally but never pull out of problems -- just like the airlines. Thanks again. Guest guest
Hello Lila, Car is both a necessity and a luxury. So, the manufacturers have to follow both strategic and tactical pricing policies for various segment of buyers from time to time. From investment point of view this sector is not a good sector for investment - specially with Venus as fourth lord in the sixth house. Best wishes. - lila Wednesday, November 12, 2008 4:55 AM Re: American Car Manufacturers Dear Professor, Yes, I do understand that. I should have said he was not serious when he asked about GM stock. Lila
Guest guest
Dear Professor, Hi. If you have time I have an important question. My daughter, Casey, who goes to Gordon College in Wehham, Massachusettes,U.S.A as a senior and has been suffering from Migraine headaches for over 10 years is in the Emergengy Room for thr 3rd time this week as she is throwing up and can't get out of bed because of the head paim. They did a spinal tap to check for menegitis, which came back negative, and I didn't find out until after the unnecessary test was done. I was told last year that they make headaches worse. She is a bright girl, (3.7 average with a double major in early childhood education and psychology) and has started 5 community outreach programs herself, helping burn victims(children) at the Shiners Hospital to helping other misfortuate people. If you can see any cause and when the severity of this will pass it would be greatly appreaciated. Unfortunately, mainstream medicine in the U.S.A. just attacks the effects of a disease and hardly ever looks for or concentrates on the cause. Guest guest
Dear Professor, Thank you for your quick response. When my daughter, Casey, enters her Moon/Mercury period on Jan. 3, 2009 will things look up for her as in her Natal Chart Mercury is the only strong planet (green on Junior Jyotish), ruling Ascendant and placed in 10th House? Thanks again. John P. Charpentier **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Guest guest
Hello dear Mr. Charpentier, The cause for the history/ migraine headaches is the impact of malefic influence of Saturn on the weak Moon. The cause of the present illness is the impact of transit Rahu on natal Sun and the coming transit impact of Rahu and Ketu on the natal Ketu and Rahu. Lot of patience and care is required. Proptiatory remedies for the FMs are likely to help. Use favorable colors and avoid unfavorable colors. Best wishes. - JCharp2796 Monday, November 17, 2008 4:39 PM Re: American Car Manufacturers Dear Professor, Hi. If you have time I have an important question.
