The continued impact of transit Jupiter on transit Saturn; persisting

influence of transit Rahu/Ketu axis in USA SAMVA chart and then the transit

influence of Rahu/Ketu on transit Jupiter shows continued financial

difficulties/setbacks for US upto the end of February, 2009. This does not

The prediction for the outcome of the US Presidential election based on the SAMVA USA chart is very interesting - and will likely be proved right. The increased difficulty in the economy due to the financial problems has made it much more likely that the Democratic candidate Barack Obama will be elected.

In terms of the astrology, as 6th lord Jupiter is an indicator of the political opposition, could you clarify what placements it is that you consider to infer the victory of the political opposition?

In particular, is it

a) the conjunction of transit Jupiter with natal 4th lord Venus at the time of the election, while also strongly placed in its own sign?

b) the transit affliction of the nodes to the odd numbered houses, which is becoming exact at election time,

c) the affliction of transit 6th lord Jupiter to transit 8th lord Saturn, or

d) all of the above

that is resulting in this outcome?

As for the slight change in emphasis in your reading for the developments in the Saturn sub-period, does it reflect a closer look at the transits? In particular, is it the conjunction of transit debilitated Jupiter with the stationary nodal axis in early 2009 - at the end of the Jupiter sub-period - which may make things more difficult, with perhaps a further setback to financial stability then?

I have earlier suggested that the conjunction of transit 6th lord Jupiter with natal 4th lord Venus in the 6th house in the SAMVA USA chart (Perpetual Union), which becomes exact on November 7th, suggests that the collective harmony will be increasingly disturbed as we approach the Presidential election and that this disturbance will be strongly felt . Likely, the loss of Obama would be more disturbing to a lot of people. For instance, consider the following news story:

Well, when looking at a printout of the planetary ephemeris (see below) there are other aspects that come to light. On November 3, transit Ketu becomes conjunct the 1st house MEP, aspecting houses 5, 7 and 9. Meanwhile Rahu on the 7th house MEP aspects houses 11, 1 and 3. This suggests a major disturbance. At the same time, around election day, the transit 2nd lord Sun becomes conjunct natal Ketu in the 4th house. Something unexpected may take place. Also around that time, transit 4th lord Venus becomes conjunct natal 8th lord Saturn just as the voting results come in. These transits suggest a sudden disruption to the collective harmony. The dissatisfaction peaks on the 7th, as earlier mentioned, but continues to be strongly felt for more than one week.

It is during the middle of November, however, that the transit afflictions become bad enough to make me sit up straight. Around the 12th of November, the affliction of transit 6th lord Jupiter to natal Venus and the nodal affliction to the house MEPs, will still be acutely felt (within 1° orb). Moreover, transit 3rd lord Mercury will be conjunct natal Ketu, transit 10th lord conjunct natal Jupiter while transit debilitated 2nd lord Sun will come under the aspect of transit 8th lord Saturn in Leo. At this time, the violence inducing aspect of transit 6th lord Jupiter to transit 8th lord Saturn comes within 1° orb and begins to be acutely felt. As that were not enough, a day later, transit 8th lord Saturn comes under the aspect of natal 8th lord Saturn. On October 16th, transit 3nd lord Mercury come under the affliction of transit Saturn.

In summary, the key afflictions involve transit 8th lord Saturn in mid November. These afflictions are difficult and they will be compounded by short term afflictions during the middle of the month. The key afflictions continue for the remainder of the month. All of this suggests there will be a strong sense of discontent following the election followed by possible violent events during the middle of the month.

Respected Prof VKC ji, Namaste.From Nov 12 to around last of Nov, the transist affliction of Tr jupiter from malefic position to Tr saturn shall be exact, Now from Indian chart view In jan between 18 jan to 24 jan when Aspect of Tr jup to Tr saturn was exact we had a strong fall in indian stocks.Now in Nov the dispositor of Saturn, Sun would be weak in tr and on Nov 21 when the aspect is exact, at that time tr sun shall be exactly afflicted by natal nodal axis, Thus tr saturn shall be very weak, Saturn in indian chart represents Govt & Foreign trade, Thus during this time Govt shall under be stress and concerns regarding Foreign trade could erupt.So According to ur view shall the Magnitude of fall we saw in Jan 08 be same in Nov 08 or not, When the transist afflictions
