Guest guest
When 9 h 18 m 30 s is referred, it is just to say that September 22, 1792, is the day when the Sun enters the equinox degree. This is the way I understand it, but I may be wrong... However, if we look to important events/dates in this chart cast for minuit it becomes clear why I prefer it to the chart of the Fifth Republic. Best wishes, On Sun, Sep 28, 2008 at 10:11 AM, Jo Cohen <cohen.jo (AT) free (DOT) fr> wrote: Hello my dear Jorge,Sorry to react lately, I was out of home for last two days...Concerning the chart of the First French Republic, just let me make one general remark. You give in your email the complete French decree, not of the creation ofthe 1st Republic but of the establishment of a " Republican Era " . That decreewas published nearly one year after the 22nd September 1792. Why did this decree claim the birth of the first French Republic as being on that 22ndSeptember 1792 at 9 hours 18 minutes and 30 seconds ? After abolition ofmonarchy and instauration of Republic on the same day, 21st September 1792, French 'revolutionnaires' discussed with astromers from the " Observatoire deParis " in order to establish a new calendar - different from the Gregoriancalendar of the monarchy - and they decided to start the Republican era just at the exact time of automnal equinox. The reality is that no event ofhistorical importance was recorded on that 22nd September 1792, which showsthat decree was a kind of " retroactive wish and arrangement " and not a historical fact. That is why, in my humble opinion, this chart cannot bereliable. Note also that French western astrologers who refer to the samedecree to cast a chart for France generally keep the hour given in the decree, i.e. 09:02 AM (modern correction).Best WishesJo - " Jorge Angelino " <jorge.angelino<satvargas >; ; " samva " <samva >Friday, September 26, 2008 3:23 AM FRANCE, Rectified Chart (Attention Please)> Dear Friends, >> Please correct the previous rectified chart of France, relative to the> Fifth> Republic.>> The rectified chart of FRANCE that should be adopted now is the chart of> the> First Republic: >> DOB: September 22, 1792> TOB: 12:00 AM> POB: Paris, France> LAGNA: 4:46 Karka (Cancer)>>>> --> Jorge Angelino> http://satva.blogspot.com/ > ----- Jorge Angelinohttp://satva.blogspot.com/
Guest guest
Dear M. Angelino, To be sure about the chart you choose for France, can you confim me its data: september 22, 1792 at 24h in Paris ? For those data my astrological sofware (Jagannatha Hora) give an AS 5°30 Cancer and Moon 2°04' Sagittarius. Thank you very much, Best wishes, Jolastro

Guest guest
Dear Professor, I didn't know the existence of this other list. If this list isn't about SA I can't join it, but I will stop discussing 1972 chart on SAMVA anyway. Best wishes, Jolastro SAMVA , " zemastro " <zemastro wrote: > > > > Dear M.
