Guest guest Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 Hello Hildreth, When both the Sun and the Moon are together and they are either close to Rahu or Ketu along the Rahu-Ketu axis, there would be solar eclipse. When the Sun and the Moon opposite each other and they are along the Rahu-Ketu axis it causes Moon Eclipse. This is for general understand while the scientific explanation may be in technical language.
