Rahu and Ketu cause exact afflictions to the houses occupied and aspected which include gains, investments, speculation, fortune and partnership. The planet ruling wealth is weak due to debilitation. All planets placed in the fourth house are weak due to the placement of the lord of the fourth house ruling assets in an afflicted house. The Moon is weak due to infancy and weakness of dispositor. A company he had invest in went bankrupt. What would indicate this? With my limited knowledge, all I can see is aspect of transit Saturn on natal Jupitor. The aspect is not particulrly close. Transit Jupitor also aspects transit Venus, lord of 4th, not very close. Is the above sufficient for the loss, or is there some other explanation? I shall be very grateful for guidance. Is it the main period of Rahu? Or is it because of sub-period of Venus which is lord of 4th. Another point is that the person is quite wealthy and the loss of $250000 on 1 July is, though significant, not unbearable for him. I have known him since 1985. Another puzzle is that in spite of weak Mercury, Moon, etc. he is never depressed and is never discouraged. No loss gets him down. He simply gets up after a " fall " and gets going again. What still baffles me is that this person has : 1. Did not inherit any money, but made tremendous amount of money in the Indian stock market in the past 2. He is a man of supreme self-confidence and will power who is willing to be alone, has little need of friends, actually none except myself 3. A man of exceptional intellect 4. In spite of many severe setbacks, I have never found him depressed or discouraged. 5. Did Electrical Engineering from Kharagpur, then made lots of money in middle east and then got into business in Australia It does not look like that his supreme self-confidence and will-power is just facade. I have known him over 20 years. For last 2 weeks he is suffering (may be virus) causing great difficulty in speaking. Thanks to your generous and continual guidance I was also thinking of the exact aspect of transit Jupiter to transit Saturn as the cause of his illness. I was regretting earlier today that with my very elementary knowledge I told his wife last night about this cause of his illness! Thinking that Jupitor and Saturn are slow moving planets, I even advised that he should see a specialist. But being a very stong- willed person he would of course not listen.
